This is a good map of where they have been. It's quite surprising when you look at it.

I have to admit, despite being a die hard fan, I haven't really enjoyed the previous two episodes as much. This one (12) is MUCH better. Although I agree about Rick's beard.

I've seen it. Good episode.

I will keep it general so as not to spoil.

The main thing I keep thinking is god you must all stink. I mean maggie has been wearing that white shirt that's now grey for weeks. And Daryls jacket thing...probably has a life of it's own. I actually think they'd be even dirtier than they are portrayed on the show too.

I love the walking dead but - and I've said this before - I'd love some realism injected into a zombie show once in a while. All the women look just slightly disheveled whereas if it were me I'd be scaring the zombie a away with just my hair.

No one ever seems to need the loo or any tampons. Or deodorant. Amazing really.

I had an epic walking dead dream last night.

I took out a load of people with a grenade then adopted twin 5 year olds. Brilliant fun.

My plan is to remain inside for as long as possible in by 2nd floor flat the get the fuck out very very fast when I've run out of food. And go....somewhere. I'd probably live in the car for a while.

That map is filming locations not a real time map, otherwise you could see Alexandria from Woodbury and the back of the house Rick and Carl take refuge in after the prison. Is there a map of where they have been in the show? Ie Ricks hospital, Atlanta, Shanes camp etc?

Yes coral is Carl we take the piss out of the way Rick says Carl. Egg is the character that Andrew Lincoln (Rick) used to play in a TV show years ago in the UK.

Ooh, I liked this one. I agree it will be hard to adjust and not go 'weak' love the twist at the end with what rick said

I loved this episode so much, but Rick is too skinny and clean looking for me now...

My favourite line from this episode has got to be Daryl telling Carol she looked ridiculous.

Who is Egg?

Did anyone else think that Rick stopped being all gruff and moody once he was all clean and shiny again? Like his personality changed back. Or is it just that I can see his facial expression a bit more?

I think the makers of The Walking Dead must keep an eye on talk threads like this and Rick's shower/shave/shirtless scene was a wee gift for the ladies.

It's interesting how Carol immediately went undercover as the sweet middle-aged housewife - she's not letting on what she's really like. I like how she threatened to hose Daryl down in his sleep. Yes Carol! Do it!

Has anyone seen the promo for next week? (I'm in NZ and it was shown here).

It seems really unlikely that the residents of this town could be so sheltered and naive. They're within sight of Washington DC, surely most of the population of the city is now zombified and wandering around. Plus any survivors in the area could have found them.

It's hard to believe that muppet (boss lady's son?) could have survived long doing supply runs if he thinks that tying up a zombie because it killed his mate is a good idea.

Rick practically told Diana (Deana?) that she shouldn't have let them in, everyone is out for whatever they can use to survive.

This thread has only 100 posts left, we may need a new one before the end of the series. It'll be hard to top "Tainted Meat" as a title!

I think in charge lady diena or whatever said a lot of Virginia was evacuated.
