B&Q would be easy to defend. It's got huge walls, not many doors and a massive fence round it's outside garden bit. And it's naturally full of defences and weapons. Fence posts, piping, sharp sticks and all manner of dangerous tools. And then once you're in there you've got everything you need to build little houses and mezzanine floors and everything! And there's fruit and veg and salad and stuff that you could grow in the compost bags, and there's always a supermarket next to a B&Q so you wouldn't have to go far for supplies. I have absolutely got this nailed!

Our nearest B&Q is next to an M&S Simply Food.
This isn't just any zombie apocalypse, this is a Marks & Spencer zombie apocalypse

Oh my God has it started already? They've stolen our idea!

The B & Q near me would have been ideal until recently, it was next to a Home Bargains that has loads of packaged/tinned food. I've checked and even I could climb from roof to roof. Unfortunately they've now built an aldi next door. Supermarkets are not good cos too many people would be thinking the same, (and half the food would spoil quickly) A dark store would be better.

Mirror if your son had to choose between being holed up in B&Q with all of us and taking his chances with the Walkers, he'd probably be hard pushed to work out which option was most frightening.

I think that we'd be relatively ok here, being an island. I reckon once the initial craziness passed we could sort things out in a year or two. In the meantime I would head for areas with a low population. Stay high I reckon and, obviously, I would be awesome with a crossbow and have magic regenerating arrows.

Assuming they bombed the Channel Tunnel to close it.

All this talk of b&q... I'm surprised that (even in america where guns are available more freely) more people arent using nail guns for zombie killing. Must be much easier to find nails around?

I've used dp's nail gun. It's fun

Making it to water and finding a boat is the best option then just ride to shore when need more supplies

DH made me watch Zombieland last night. I can honestly say I prefer TWD's walkers. Zombieland zombies are bloody fast!

A couple of years ago my brother and I sat down with pen and paper and did a fool proof zombie plan. He's a prison officer so it entailed him getting one of the armoured vehicles, some weapons etc and coming to get me.

Of course, then TWD ACTUALLY DID THE FUCKING PRISON THING so now every zombie bait arsehole will actually be heading to prisons.
