I am watching the Black Friday coverage on TV and in the newspapers and it struck me that is what it would be like if the TWD hit the UK. People squabbling over TVs and punching one another. Imagine what some of those people would be like if they were trying to get hold of food and water. {Shudder}

The biggest threat wouldn't be zombies once you had secure shelter - it would be the looters you'd have to keep an eye out for.. Oh and the cannibals of course!

That's exactly what I thought Abra1d. There was a picture of a crowd of people with arms outstretched as a man stood in the back of a truck handing out TVs or something. Take out the TVs and you had a scene from TWD.

This is obviously what it's going to be like when the zombie apocalypse happens. We'll be alright, we'll all be at B&Q shouting 'I'm a Mumsnetter, let me in, I know stuff and thangs'!

We'll be fine, MsAdorabelle, all tucked up safe. We just need the code word for entry to the B&Q.

They are a little ubiquitous now, but some of them (especially the look at the flowers ones) make me lol. A pp on an earlier thread linked to the Honest Trailer on Youtube for the walking Dead and that is very funny - includes stuuuuff and thaaaaangs

I know it's late but I'm so fucking genuinely enraged right now that I simply had to log in at this godforsaken hour (in the vain hope that even if I can save one of you from my misfortune) to warn any facebook followers of the official TWD page not to go on fb as its spoilerific and right there in my fucking newsfeed. I didn't even have to go on the page. Of course you get the sanctimonious twats with the " if you don't like it you should stay off social media..." line. Well you know what? Fuuuuuck you! I'm not staying off my fb for 24 hours lest some incompetent stuttering twat thinks to themselves. "I'm a dickhead. How on earth do I make the other half of America AND the rest of the world want to tears apart limb from limb?except for a few sanctimonious twats of course I'll post a spoiler and save them the bother of watching the show.

For anyone who wants to watch it, there's a Facebook page called 'Now Showing' which has tonight's episode on. I liked it, but it was a bit 'meh' compared to other episodes this season I think. I won't say anything else as I don't want to give anything away.
