I have rebought the complete box set after i previously gave it away to charity and dh is away all weekend so once ds in bed planning on watching some episodes or maybe the first movie (not the 2nd one ......never that one).

Im thinking the one where carrie and aiden break up for the 2nd time, the one where miranda discovers she is pregnant and then when she has the baby but cant think of any others off the top of my head.

Any suggestions?

The Man, they Myth, the Viagra...where Miranda discovers that Steve is not like all men.

And I love the one where they all fail to turn up to Carrie's birthday dinner and then Charlotte makes that speech about them being each other's soul mates - can't remember what the episode is called.

I know it's trash but love S&TC...

I'm currently watching them all in order and Aidan has just dumped Carrie for cheating with Big.

Carries gorgeous outfit episodes...the antiques fair where she wears a chiffon white blouse and tweed pants. The Freakshow episode ending with its lovely outfit as she crosses the road in search of a 'freak to kiss my three little heads'. The episode coming out of the park where she is wearing a pale blue mac, red pants and white top. The 'Post It Note Break Up' episode where she gets pissed at a party then gets caught with a spliff, slating Berger whilst wearing totes amazing petrol blue hooded dress.

'The Ex Files' where she visits David Duchovny in the clinic and ends up helping to reunite Standford and Marcus all to the strains of 'If You Leave Me Now' at the GBLT prom.

Surely her best outfit was the huge dress on the bed in Paris??

I cannot bare Berger even now the thought of it makes my teeth itch but her hair was awesome in that episode after he dumped her by post it might watch that one first lilannie

Her best outfit is one I'm copying after failing to try and buy it for ten years (for a party next month)

It's 'Splat'- the third to last episode and the dress is a Marc Jacobs snowflake dress in pale blue velvet with nude net godets

Coulda shoulda woulda (Miranda pregnant) and One (Charlottes miscarriage/Miranda and Steve get back together). And the final one.

Yes her hair was cool wasn't it? I like spotting the scenes filmed when she was pregnant IRL because she has a bit of a glow on. The one where she bumps into Aiden with his baby (Carrie is on her way to her first date w/ Berger) and she is all rosy cheeked and looks softer somehow. And she has that blouse pouffed over jeans with a cardi over the top- disguising a pregnant belly?

Then there's the cafe scene where she wears a flowered (Bit Marimekko inspired) Chanel kaftan style top and headscarf. She looks very glowing there too.

And don't forget the episode that went out after 9/11 and coincidentally talks of friends that leave us and go in and out of our lives. It is dedicated to NYC but that was accidental apparently- not done after the fact.

I sound a tad obsessed.

Ooh love the post it note ep (and yes, hate Berger too!) and Splat, I think you should just watch them all!!

I loved Carrie's shoes when she rings the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, the sparkly coat she wears when she arrives in Paris and the dress in Paris when Mr Big comes to get her!

And the outfit when she treads in dog poo in Paris is divine!!

My personal favourites are the one where she is asked to model & falls over,Brady's birthday party when Charlotte is getting over a mc. She wears the most beautiful pink dress & looks just beautiful. The one where Samantha meets the well endowed guy,ding ding ding jackpot!!
It just reminds me of such a fun part of my life,I love it.
Harry is my favourite man in it. Carrie is actually my least favourite.

My Motherboard, Myself is my favourite episode. When we see Miranda's soft side and Charlotte has ordered that huge wreath for the funeral. "It was supposed to say 'we're sorry for your loss' not 'you're dead let's disco" or something like that.

I liked the one where Big end up eating shrimp in The Four Seasons with Natasha at their engagement party cue The Way We Were however! that's were she should've left it with Big!

I love the one where Harry and Charlotte get together "Is this what guys think it takes to get a girl into bed?" "Well what does it take?" and she tells him he can't fancy her cos she's wearing her glasses :)

My fave Carrie hairstyle is deffo the shoulder-length straight flicked-up bob she had at one stage - have failed to find a picture so it obv wasn't in many episodes!

One of my favourites is when Carrie and Charlotte go to some seminar for single women...and Charlotte says she hasn't found anyone though she's followed all the advice. And the awful woman giving the talk is really mean to her, saying but are you really getting out there etc.

I was single for a long time, and I lost count in the end of the number of people who told me I wasn't trying hard enough, or trying too hard, or whatever. That episode just summed up a lot of the shit you go through as a singleton.

I like the one where Carrie sees everyone's boobs - it has a memorable Samantha moment when she hails the seamen (Navy in town) - Miranda checks for sailors - "well with her you never know"

I love the one where Charlotte keeps going to the night for single Jews, looking for her Jew, and one night he is there :)

The one where nobody turns up for Carrie's birthday party, then Big appears outside her apartment in his limo with red balloons and champagne, and waggles his eyebrows at her

All the episodes where she's cheating on Aidan with Big - in fact, pretty much all the third series is brilliant.

The fashion show one where she falls over.

All the ones with Blair Underwood

The one where she gets mugged for her Manolis and Miranda meets the gorgeous cop. Miranda had all the best-looking guys.

The one were she's dating the younger bloke and they get stoned on his parents balcony, thought it was great acting unless they really were smoking a doobie.

I bought those Manolos because of that scene (luv them)

Ooh... The ones when Samantha is dating the young hot model, what's his name.. Smith? And agree about the episodes with Charlotte/Harry.

I still think she should have stayed with Aidan though...

Aidan was hot but soooo controlling. I wish she didn't end up with any of them. I love the episode when they go to Vegas.
