I thought we might be a bit short on space on the old thread (especially if somebody we like goes!) so here's a shiny new one for Hallowe'en results onwards

True, ppeat. How has Joan Collins managed it when everyone else who was rich and glam of that generation just looks swollen and a bit odd? Not that Joanie looks natural, obv, but she does look like herself.

I meant her talent and star quality; I wasn't talking about her looks. I liked her hair, personally.

I know you did Only It's just very sad that hardly anyone in the public eye wishes to look their age . Only Len on the whole of SCD and that's not good news for us 'normal' types.

Well, the more famous people who have bad plastic surgery, the more us normal types will think 'Not for me, mate', hopefully!

I saw Queen Noor on the Andrew Marr show, laudably discussing the global issue of slavery, and all I could think was how does she look like this when she is 63?

If you have good botox then I think you're more likely to 'like yourself' apart from looking a bit like a Lion King animation .

It's the 'knife' that does the real damage.

I think Queen Noor has had good botox but it is still very strange to see someone in her 60s look as though she is about 30. The prevalence of plastic surgery means that those who don't have it inevitably look much older in comparison. The woman who was with her on the Marr programme is probably much younger but looks like her mother here

Yes thanks for the link Tensmum Interesting that the natural woman is french. i'm in Fr. 50% of the time and they don't seem soo youth and botox fixated.
In fact I'm 63 and often get eyed up by younger and older men . I hasten to add that I do look after myself but there's no way I'd get plastic surgery of any type (unless you class having short sight corrected plastic surgery )

That clip of Ian made him sound so camp and not sure I liked him in it yet usually he's my all time favourite.

I love that Ian and Zoe have a great relationship but am I alone in thinking 'ENOUGH NOW' every time she goes dribbly and gooey eyed and states how much she loves him and how much she loves being in his arms and how much she loves him and ... ahhhhhh!

When you see the two together, he keeps it professional and she goes OTT on the BFF front and I find it all a bit much. In the words of Michael Winner (and I don't usually quote him but it is some time past wine o'clock) 'calm down dear' ...

Took me a while to cotton on to Robin though. My favourite Robin moment was when he was with Deborah and Bruce tried to make a 'Puff the magic Dragon' joke but got it wrong and said something like 'puff and the dragon'. Robin gave him a look that would curdle milk.

Tonight on ITT Zoe let slip that Tess danced with Brendan including lifts in a club after the Blackpool show.
