Carrying on from thread two.

I thought we might be a bit short on space on the old thread (especially if somebody we like goes!) so here's a shiny new one for Hallowe'en results onwards

Am I the only one who thinks Frankie seems really bored by the whole experience? She looks so apathetic when the judges are giving feedback. I just don't feel she cares.

Have been watching some of Harry/Aliona and Abbey/Aljaz's dances on YouTube. I loved both pairings: the celebs seemed so genuinely excited to be learning to dance, and they were genuinely learning a new skill rather than being people who already had a strong background in performance/stage school. And the chemistry with their partners was very convincing.

I didn't really enjoy last night that much: the dances were all a bit meh. I felt Ola really misjudged her dance in terms of what Steve is capable of.

Can't understand why the judges were raving about Frankie's tango. The music wasn't very tango-y and the changes of tempo were really distracting. Obviously the technique must have been there but it just left me cold.
There don't seem to have been any proper tangos this season. IMO a tango needs music with a proper tango rhythm.

I'd rather lose the ones who danced like pros from week 1 and shouldn't be in the competition and keep the ones who are genuinely learning to dance so by bye Pixie and the other woman who was getting 8s and 9s in week 1.
I think Judy has really progressed. Would happily see Alison go though and think some of the blokes are just as wooden as Judy is at times but blokes can get away with more because they aren't expected to do as much, especially if they have strong arms.

I have tickets for the tour. i am really concerned as to who we are going to get.

I seem to remember Mark weeping almost every show - when he's up in the 'Clauditorium' - so relieved, sob sob, love my nan, sob sob

I looked on Digital Spy and found out who went last night .

I am begrudgingly aware that all of Marks emotions are genuine too - and that'll be why I'll be rooting for him in the end I reckon.

I thought Jake and Jenette were under par last night too, but I don't mind because it gives them a platform to build up from IYSWIM

I can't warm to Mark & Karen, I read in the papers last year that she was really mean to Ola during the last series. And the way she screams & pulls faces when the judges scores are being announced just grates on me. Mark is a built for tv non entity with no real charm, feels completely scripted whenever he talks or cries.

I agree on last nights show, found myself losing interest. I didn't feel there was any stand out couple really, too much about the theme and not enough about the dancing.

Scoring was very odd too, how could stompy Alison get 7's when Sunetra got 7's for a much more technical & polished performance?

I think Mark is a genuinely nice bloke, watched him in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and he was lovely in that as well. Quite like a bloke who gets emotional about things, and his family obviously mean the world to him.

Saves me the bother of watching the results show which I don't usually enjoy much.

I'm not surprised Mark was overcome last week. Normally if someone's been in the bottom two one week but escaped the dance off the following week they call their name early, not leave them right to the end.

I have to confess I've checked the result on DS - we have extra children round for tea, so I doubt I'll get to see the results show.

I wondered if Scott was better last night because it was one of the dances not choreographed by the pro? I think it was anyway
