Carrying on from thread two.

I thought we might be a bit short on space on the old thread (especially if somebody we like goes!) so here's a shiny new one for Hallowe'en results onwards

I thought Brendan steered Sunetra into the judges desk during the DO - hence the stumble.

I think everyone there genuinely loves her. I never understood why she was so hated before this, I've always thought she seemed fabulous, glad she's proved it.

Thought that Judy was lovely and I adored her and Anton's relationship

That was actually a very fast samba routine I thought. Loved Shirley!
Judy looked fabulous in that dress and is such a good sport.

Seeing Shirley Bassey on those steps, I kept expecting her to step down and put her shoe thro a cardboard box accidentally left by 2 careless stage managers...

As for McBusted, they were quite shit but we've just booked to take the girls (12 and 10) to see them in march. The girls weren't troubled by off notes

sassy how can you say that about McBusted? Plus at going to see lovely Dougie.

There are whisperings that Anton may become a judge if one of those others goes in the next series, people are saying Len might retire making Darcey head judge.

I love Anton so I'd be happy with that but I know many won't. He's become a bit of a standing joke, being paired up with the poor dancers, he seems to have a lot of fun though.
I think Judy is one of those ladies that's quiet and can come across as standoffish at first but quickly becomes funny and warm as you get to know her.

Shed a tear for Judy. She couldn't dance but tonight she gave us her best and Anton is always lovely with his partners. It was her time though.

Shirley began with a 'bum note', but got better and she is 77.

No such excuse for Msbusted's off key rendition.

Sunetra will be lovely next week.
The Samba is posing a problem for the non trained dancers.

Anyone else think the sound was bad?

AWW Judy has gone but it was about time she came over very well as everyone seemed to like her and Anton but for once I wish they would give him a decent dancer , still it seems that is his role in strictly to have the duffers. Judy managed to waltz well so she did improve a little in the end. Shirley Bassey might have been a bit flat on her first note but the rest was amazing sheer class.

I hope they don't make Anton a judge. I don't see how he's qualified to judge anyone's Latin dances.

I was wondering why Frankie's DH travelled up to Blackpool with her this weekend as he does seem to be ever-present...I realised why now I have seen the results show with McBusted on since she used to live with one of them

Ah but said McBusted person now has Ellie Goulding spooky.

Very true but I do think Frankie is far prettier than Ellie Goulding and I suspect Mr Bridge would be feeling a bit insecure if Frankie had gone to Blackpool by herself

Well a quick check of EG's twitter shows she went to Blackpool too. She obviously wasn't taking any chances, same as Mr B.

Speaking of a burly chassey (sp), Brendan seems to be, em, filling out a bit.

Lovely way for Judy to leave the show. Funny to watch Trent's fixed, angry expression as Darcey criticized Pixie. According to Mighty Monkseal, Trent's wife was one of the dancers last night. I think she's the tall blonde one who was dancing with Brendan.

Agree Burley was a bit but her singing improved (she should've warmed up in the dressing room!) whereas the McFly boys even with 5 guitars FGS didn't !!!

Maybe it was difficult to balance the sound (she said trying to be fair) .

Well at bleedin' last the public let poor Judy out of her misery. Agree about Anton and her having a lovely relationship and the others were really upset to see them leave.

I was wondering if Brendan could make Sunetra's choreography a bit easier she obviously found that dance difficult.

I was sad to see Judy go. She danced SO much better this weekend. She was the weakest one left though.

Sunetra didn't suit the samba. Hope she gets a nice ballroom dance next week, but I think she's reaching her limit. Craig's pre-dance-off advice to her was very sweet.

Caroline was overmarked IMO. Flat and stompy.
Pixie also overmarked. She didn't have the strong paso top line at all.
Frankie was boring. Never seems to bring any personality to the dances and she doesn't close her feet.
Can barely remember Steve's routine, it was so boring.
Mark was over-rated I think. He seemed to run out of energy partway through.
Jake was A-MA-ZING. Suave and sexy. Great Fred Astaire section. Janette is a very clever choreographer and knows how to dig herself out of a hole.
Simon and Kristina could have smouldered a bit more but he was jolly good and I loved the last lift. I'm warming to him.

I hope Claudia's daughter is doing well and I don't mean this to sound callous, but I'm really missing Claud on the show!

She's the real thing Well if you looked at that link of her on the Morecambe and Wise show IMO there's not much of her that is REAL any more, she looked like a plastic replica of herself with a bad wig .
