Apparently it's meant to be a Baltimore accent. Though I don't remember it from The Wire...

Am enjoying this series so far (have been watching illegally ). The clown is pretty terrifying, not that clowns really need much help in that department. I loved series 1 and 2, but thought 3 was pants. This one seems to be a return to form, though as always it does seem to be a case of chucking everything at the wall and seeing what sticks. There's usually enough to keep you interested. As long as they don't forget about various storylines, as they kept doing in season 3.

Recognised the accent from john Travoltas turn as the mother in Hairspray

I've just watched it, not impressed with Kathy Bates' or Jessica Lange's accents, and the clown wasn't anywhere near as scary as I expected!
I think it has promise though, Sarah Paulson is just mesmerising. I love her.
Hopefully Twisty will get scarier.

Ah,it's American Horror Story, there will be twists. Maybe their accents are meant to be fake? lol

There was a scarier clown in the advertising-anyone know if he will be in it too, or was it just Scary Clown Number One?

Love AHS but haven't seen season 3 yet.

I liked season 1 the best but the house did get very 'busy' with ghosts towards the end. Busy isn't scary.

Oh god there's a scary clown?! Got the first episode ready to watch - have to wait for DH (curse him!)

Jessica Lange is great - loved her in series 3 when someone asked if she was in charge there (at the school) and she came back with "I'm in charge everywhere!" Brilliant

Clown wasnt that scary but know some people have a real fear of them tho his grin was weird

Love spotting the regulars each series now tho weird the 2nd series as expected them to play who they did in the first. Now used to it iyswim

Said it before. Loved 1 and 2 but not 3 so much. Hoping 4 will be good. Liking so far

Series 3 is now on netflix! Started watching it today.

I am excited too. DH hasn't seen any of AHS...don't know whether to make him watch it so i don't have to wait till he's out to see the episodes....

I'm intrigued as to how the clown fits in to the story line....at the moment that bit is completely separate to the rest of the 'freak show'.

Loved it, dh is terrified of clowns but has been kind enough to watch with me. I got an email today saying season 3 on netflix now. I have only watched season 1 but I loved it.

That clown scares the shit out of me! Why the hell didn't that lass run for the hills as soon as he came out of the bushes? Has she never seen a horror film?!

Or run for their car?

Sister from asylum is meant to be coming into freak show. Something to do with pepper - the bald double brother /sister act

I thought it was good, but I'm still not finding it scary I get a pleasant little chill at the clowns face, but I thought the reveal of what's under his mask was underwhelming again. Although the team up with the rich kid has great potential!
They have really missed a trick with him I think, both his intro and that first view under his mask could have been soooo much scarier.

Yes , saw on FB about Sister Mary Eunice / Pepper and the tie in to the asylum , think it said episode 10.

I hate clowns and will confess to having to google Twisty once 'scary clown' was mentioned as I needed to see him before he just popped up on AHS. The write up of what was under the mask was better than the reveal.

Dandy had twisted written all over him !

I love AHS, have watched it since the beginning. Just starting the 1st episode now, have to watch it alone unfortunately as it's just me and the dcs. Its scarier than Coven already! I did like Coven though, I liked them all

Would love to watch 1 again after knowing what I now know - without giving it away

I've read about Twisty Blonde Have to say I'm quite disappointed
