Background music in 'The Bill', what's going on???

Anyone know why there is terrible cheesy background music on 'The Bill' tonight???!!!

they must havea new producer.

they are doing an oversea's scene so mayeb they are trying to make it more drama like

It's rather reminding me of that mega cheese soap circa 1979, "Triangle". Heavy meaningful looks and "duh duh DERRRR" type music!

It's putting me off!!

Wasn't it flipping dreadful! Really self conscious and did nothing to add to the suspense or 'mood' or whatever they thought it should... In fact you couldn't hear some of what they were saying over it!

I emailed ITV about it. Spoils it IMO. Probably done it because they are abroad.
