I spent my pregnancy worrying about the lack of antenatal care in the UK.
I never felt reassured during my pregnancy that the NHS really looks after the mother-to-be and the baby. I kept thinking how would they know after the 20 week scan that everything is still ok?? With the help of a tape measure? Why can't they use the bloody doppler scan on everyone? Can we start a petition about it?
(of course I would have loved to be able to afford private care but it was and still is out of question)
Just can't understand why the doppler scan is available freely to everyone in some EU-countries on the National Health...(where I am from you get at least 4 scans, they check the mother's ECG, NST weekly towards the end and also doppler)

So sorry for those who have lost their babies.
