The Killing (no spoilers please)

So browsing netflix I have decided that this will be my new addiction.

We are at the very beginning episode 3 series 1.

I don't like her partner, he says inappropriate things and I do not trust him.

I watched the Danish version a few months ago, took us a while to get through but was worth it. I've not seen the US version but I saw an advert and looked exactly the same plot, so I figured it would be a bit of an anticlimax for me.

The Bridge is better though, in my opinion.

Holder is hot stuff. I really like Linden, personally, and think the actor's performance is very good.

I really like the US Killing, although the Danish one is better. Both versions are better than The Bridge, IMO, but Borgen might just be the best of the Scandi things. and it has the highest hot-men tally

Loved the Danish version, although I find the political stuff a bit boring. The bridge is excellent too but think I like Sara Lund and her jumpers slightly more than Saga.

mumtosome61 I watched the US version first and thought that it was just a reworking of the Danish one, but decided to watch the Danish one afterwards anyway. Glad I did as they changed things around so it was worth watching both.

I watched 'The Bridge' and then decided to watch 'The Tunnel', not realising until the first episode that the latter was a reworking of the former. However, like the Killing, there are bits changed, so it's still worth watching both.
