Sadly, it's not the type of ARENA with lions and men in skimpy loin cloths.

Instead, we have contestants we have already forgotten, singing again (probably with a loud backing track and auto tune).

The acts will be singing:-

BRADLEY DENHOLM
Let Me Entertain You- Robbie Williams

BABALOLA EHIDIAMEN
It Will Rain – Bruno Mars

JAMES GRAHAM
I Can’t Make You Love Me – Bonnie Raitt/Adele

JALE ANTOR
Crazy Stupid Love – Cheryl ft. Tinie Tempah

THE COURTESANS
Delilah – Tom Jones

REBECCA JONES
Moon River – Andy Williams

CHARLIE BROWN
All I Do – Stevie Wonder

STEVIE TENNENT
Feeling Good – Michael Buble

PAUL AKISTER
Let’s Get It On – Marvin Gaye

LAUREN PLATT
How Will I know – Whitney Houston

INDIANA Ifill
I’m Going Down – Mary J Blige

LOU BOU
Pretty Hurts/Partition –Beyoncé

KIERON WINTER
Let her Go – Passenger

AMY CONNOLLEY
Greatest Love of All – Whitney Houston

We have Mickey Bubbles!

And some one daft enough to sing a Chezza song (which was bad enough to start with).

And not one but TWO Whitney songs!- We are being spoilt this week.

Bring Wine and Brew and Cake and ear plugs.

I want him to stay. If he's in slippers and pegged trews now he will deffo graduate to some sort of tartan/pleather combo.

SirNoel · 14/09/2014 20:55

I love the Bluntster but this guy? No

TheFairyCaravan · 14/09/2014 20:56

I don't like him either. I think he's an arrogant tosser, tbh.

Raahh · 14/09/2014 20:56

Interpreter of songs? It was just as dull as when it was written.

LottieMumofWilfJenkins · 14/09/2014 20:56

RF is from Liverpool!

Giraffeski · 14/09/2014 20:56

It's not him that's captivating Louis, it's his slippers.

StoneTheFlamingCrows · 14/09/2014 20:56

New Matt cardle. Like we need anotherHmm

Giraffeski · 14/09/2014 20:57

Chezza fancies him.

BOFster · 14/09/2014 20:57

I like James Blunt only because of his comebacks to twitter hecklers:

"Damn thing's always getting caught under my feet. RT @laurenlyall: Why does James Blunt sing like his willy is being stood on?"

Raahh · 14/09/2014 20:57

They have t-shirts. with his name on.

Not a dog in sightSad

I hope wearing your gran dad's slippers as shoes is not a thing. I fear a room full of students in slippers next week.

Raahh · 14/09/2014 20:59

Arf. Apparently one of the gay clubs round here is featuring xfactor finalist failures 2010 this winter. First up FYD in October (I can't remember who that is either). Somehow I doubt the wandies will be putting in an appearance.

Raahh · 14/09/2014 21:03

Students in slippers, without socks.

Would be like the Waitrose cheese counter.

OP posts:
CalamitouslyWrong · 14/09/2014 21:06

Sadly I've never frequented the waitrose cheese counter. Sad

Raahh · 14/09/2014 21:07

(Cal, me neither- but Asda only do Cheddar, I figured Waitrose might do something whiffy) Grin

DH makes me watch x factor on catch up so I always miss the threads Angry I read all your posts as we are watching the acts and it is amazing how often I have just been thinking the exact same thing.

Too many copy cat acts this time around. I liked Puggles and the very, very nervous girl. Not Another Direction or James Blunt II.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 14/09/2014 21:14

Or James Matthew Blunt-Cardle, to give him his full name Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 14/09/2014 21:18

Although on reflection I think Cardle-Blunt sounds better.

CalamitouslyWrong · 14/09/2014 21:24

The fenwicks cheese counter does a good line in whiffy cheese. Although, I hate whiffy cheese.

slithytove · 14/09/2014 22:41

I think Cardle - blunt would be better known as clunt. Or something which sounds similar.
