Oh goodness, Simon's all sweaty and beardy, John looks like a living skull with bad high lights, Nick and Roger look exactly the same

It's been 30 years since their posters adorned my bedroom walls and I taped the top 40 on a Sunday evening but I STILL remember every word of every song they wrote I even know how many beats to pause between words

Weirdly my Dh looks like Simon, complete with beard. If you'd told my 13 year old self that one day I'd marry a Simon look a like I'd have laughed and told you not to be ridiculous I'd be married to John

It's a good read-doesn't spill many beans if I am honest-no dirt. But it's quite an eye opener to know what was going on really behind the glossy front IYKWIM.

Sparklingbrook I don't really know to be honest - it's just sat in her bureau to be re-discovered years later! I must say the compass is very efficient, but thinking maybe ds shouldn't be taking it to school - probably on some prohibited items list! I do remember a girl at school pushing her cuticles back with her pointy compass - ouch!
I had that lovely poster to - I also remember my dad returning from a parents evening think I was in the 3rd year and my form teacher saying 'her mind's on other things' looking down pointedly at my biology exercise book which I had lovingly covered with a rather fab poster of Simon Le Bon
