I LOVE this! Thanks!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/08/2014 16:36

I was just wondering the other day if it had disappeared never to return. I love it - can't wait for it to come back.

Crutchlow35 · 18/08/2014 17:40

It starts again tonight in the states but they had 7 or so episodes from Swanson three earlier in the year so they are quite a bit ahead.

It is being trailed on Channel 5 tonight as returning on the 4th September.

SlatternLovesLots · 23/08/2014 08:39

Fab news, thanks OP for the heads up.

MissBattleaxe · 05/09/2014 14:24

What did everyone think last night? It's not the same without JR and the plots seem a bit formulaic now.

Crutchlow35 · 05/09/2014 19:08

Oh I loved it. Yes, not the same without JR. The storylines verge on ridiculous and at times unfollowable but I love it. I woke early this morning so watched at 6 am!

I don't understand how Emma's dad got out of jail though.

SpanishFly · 05/09/2014 19:50

I'm watching now. I have no clue wtf is going on.

goldface · 05/09/2014 19:58

I so loved it!!!!

MissBattleaxe · 06/09/2014 13:26

No I don't know how Emma's Dad got out of jail either. I don't understand half of it but I think they could easily re title it "Ewing Family-vs-This Week's Opponent"

It's not the same without JR chatting up some popsy and calling her "darlin'" and having a Scotch for Elevenses and a sly grin to himself about God Knows What.

Crutchlow35 · 06/09/2014 17:38

Talking of Sly, bring back Sly I say!

SlatternLovesLots · 08/09/2014 22:05

I have just watched the new episode, fabulous! Yes, it's ridiculous, but that's what I want for my light entertainment.

My only gripe - why oh why in the sexy shot of John Ross lying in bed did he have to be wearing socks!

I haven't a clue how bloke got out of jail, but to be honest I don't really care.

I too miss JR but do like the way they continually pay tribute to the original programme.

Oh and another small gripe - horse riding girlie that Christopher was eyeing up had the weirdest looking lips.

whatevermaycome · 09/09/2014 06:25

He's under cover for the CIA I think I remember

MissBattleaxe · 09/09/2014 10:32

Emma's father is undercover CIA? When did i miss that one?

The thing about Dallas is that it goes about 100 miles an hour, so if you nip out to boil the kettle, by the time you come back, John Ross has had another affair and everyone's changed allegiance again.

whatevermaycome · 10/09/2014 09:45

Judith Ryland is fabulous - she needs a spin off series.

whatevermaycome · 10/09/2014 09:53

Best line ever -Judith 'we have a problem' ...Harris 'has one of your Dalmatians died ' Grin

cupofsneeze · 10/09/2014 09:54

CBS are showing the original series which i'm also watching because i'm a sad git Blush

Its suprising how many links there are from the new series to the original, someone in the script department has been busy watching hours of old TV!

onedev · 14/09/2014 10:52

I'm enjoying it too! Everyone is so good looking although I think Jesse Metcalfe would be better as a baddie!

I love Sue Ellen & totally agree with poster above - bring back Sly Grin
