You wonder if Pauline was influenced to choose Helen
I was wondering that too. Also, it's very strange that Helen won after being consistently disliked by the public.
Obviously there wasn't anyone who stood out as being a genuine 'winner' so voters had to chose from a pretty shabby bunch. They all looked exhausted and completely worn down by the end.
I do think that giving Helen immunity made it very hard for those who were intimidated by her to fight back. Their one weapon - a vote at nomination - was taken away. It would be interesting to see if the public would have kept Helen there if she had been up for eviction throughout the show, like the others.
I think if Helen had been evicted early on, she still would have made lots of money through interviews and photo-shoots. Then the rest of the characters in the house would have been more relaxed and we would have seen a completely different show.
Keeping her there just made it the Helen show and the producers encouraged it all by trying to pit Ashleigh and Helen against each other so much. The others didn't get much of a look in, there were just the extras. No wonder it ended up with the two women going to head to head in the final.
I bet bb producers thought that would make excellent tv.
Wrong.
We, the public, are left feeling that we've been tricked somehow, that there is some other influence that we're not aware of us. This years show was disappointing in that respect, imo.
