New series starts on Sunday at 9pm - I can't wait. I really hope Binky has dumped the cheating deadweight.

Billie looks like a guinea pig Hmm

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 01/09/2014 09:35

Rosie shagged her friend's bf. She has poly amorous form. If these people know about each other I don't see the problem. OTT = how dare he treat me this way (she's behaved worse).

jalopy · 01/09/2014 11:00

Is it my imagination or did Louise appear a bit 'out of it' when shown around Alik's work place? Her eyes were strange, she could hardly focus on him in the close up shots and her responses were even more stilted than ever.

squoosh · 01/09/2014 11:06

I thought that too jalopy! I think it was when she stood up from the drums and he kissed her that it felt really stilted. Although that may have been because they'd had to re-do the scene a few times.

Hmmmm.

squoosh · 01/09/2014 11:07

Billie's pygmy paws freaked me out a little.

Spencer was assessing her like a racehorse though, he probably tipped her head back to have a feel of her molars too.

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2014 11:21

That date was so stilted and cringey. With the tiny little hands inspection and the slick back hair. Spenny is losing it.

That kiss was bad. Alik and Louise.

NickiFury · 01/09/2014 11:34

Well apparently they spent the night together after it so maybe they enjoyed it.

I fast forwarded when Sam was on. I can't watch him.

Stephanie is back next week! Yay I hope he dumps Billy.

NickiFury · 01/09/2014 11:56

And there's no denying that Jules is a bit of a tool but did he really deserve being torn into like that? Hurt pride combined with quite a nasty personality, that's what that was about.

squoosh · 01/09/2014 12:00

I enjoyed the scene with Jules, it seemed the only non rehearsed scene in the whole show. Rosie's snotty anger felt real as did his outrage.

CharlieBrookerScowl · 01/09/2014 12:05

He should have told Rosie. She was harsh but polyamory isn't the default so she no doubt felt she'd been 'had'. And his argument that no one is monogamous is bullshit. I can barely be arsed to have one BF, let alone want to be with 3+. And I just don't swing that way! Some do of course, like him and the creepy woman.

NickiFury · 01/09/2014 12:10

But I think in America it's a given that they'll be dating a number of people until they have The Talk, so for him The Talk would perhaps have been the time to bring up polyamory?

squoosh · 01/09/2014 12:17

To me his lack of humour, his overly sincere way of talking, and his creepy eyes are bigger issues than his polyamory.

NickiFury · 01/09/2014 12:20

He's completely unattractive in all possible ways and the polyamory is just the cherry on the cake.

I liked it when they were in Alik's show room and he rather too enthusiastically tried to put the leather on Mark-Francis's leg for his leather trousers. MF looked horrified Grin

CharlieBrookerScowl · 01/09/2014 12:35

Maybe so. But it's not what you expect at 'the talk' is it? Wouldn't cross my mind really. It's normally just 'ooo do they like me/don't they'?, not 'ooo will I be second fiddle to a possible pre-existing set of girlfriends' Grin

I did feel for him a bit though as 'disgusting' is a bit harsh. Maybe should've told her but it's up to him what he does. Doesn't hurt anyone else even if he is a bit creepy!

The Spencer date was scary as hell. He's really creeping me out this series. Like a predator past his prime.

ChaffinchOfMegalolz · 01/09/2014 12:38

I can't help but like bumbling old Sam!
think he'll rediscover love with Riley? she's a bit of a spare part

disliking spiky Lucy this series

Stephanie Pratt is ace. Loathed her in the Hills though Grin and her tool of a brother. How can she expect just to reattach to Stevie! Looking horrified when she realises he's with the guinea pig Grin

Spencer is loathsome too not giving up when Billie chooses Stevie; continuing to woo her from the side ye gads the guy is a maniac. bet he has stalker tendencies too.

Scarletohello · 01/09/2014 13:20

I don't like Spencer at all but when he was speaking French I did feel a little...tingle. What's wrong with me?? :)

ChaffinchOfMegalolz · 01/09/2014 13:25

scarlet hahaha! I don't think he translated accurately what he said... he said ''lit'' which is ''bed'' yet he didn't translate that to guinea pig....

any French speakers??

CharlieBrookerScowl · 01/09/2014 13:29

His eyes seem to be desperate to operate seperately. Especially when he's angry/annoyed!

I can't belive Billie bought any of his shit though. Did enjoy watching him squirm at the end though, espite obviously being staged.

squoosh · 01/09/2014 13:30

Have Cheska, Fran and Victoria been given the heave-ho?

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2014 13:33

Looks wise Jules isn't bad. But yep it's the personality and intenseness that would put you off.

I did find the scene in the club funny. They were cracking up at emotional lesbian line. They seemed a bit tipsy or something else.

slalomsuki · 01/09/2014 15:20

Despite all the set up scenes and the bad acting I am enjoying it though

But it is really showing up how they desperately need an injection of new characters for the next series back in London. Can't think of many "hook ups" that haven't been done so far.

NickiFury · 01/09/2014 18:09

Did anyone see that Spenny was playing baseball in his designer shoes? Grin Obviously forgot his trainers.

TheFillyjonk · 01/09/2014 21:30

I must be a bit odd as I quite like Jules. I liked him when he said Billie wasn't a possession. And I don't really think he did anything wrong - he did want to tell Rosie but when the whole world is against the way you choose to live your life, you have to pick your moments. I do think he was a little knobbish to trash monogamy though I guess biologically he's right.

I thought Rosie showed herself to be a nasty, ignorant little dweeb. Vile comment about chopping his dick off. I suspect she is probably quite the bigot.

Jules has handled the hate well on his Twitter. I really don't think the hate speech is okay when polyamory is a way consenting adults choose to conduct their relationships. It's not about being a player or sleazy or cheating - you have faithful relationships between more than one partner.

I'm not poly by the way, but my sister is. One thing the show has hopefully done is open up dialogue on what polyamory is, and what it isn't.

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2014 21:46

That comment was grim and nasty.
