I'm not sure I want to put this in words but DS room has always been incredibly cold, I have heard noises in his room even when he is not there and the crying in the monitor when he is asleep. Noises and crying are most likely caused by the house's materials moving with temperature changes, the crying... well the street is full of children so we can easily hear each other's, but what I never understood was DS's baby book that I left always open to the side of the cot, being tidyly folded and placed in a corner when I checked afterwards, the light in the living room turning off while we all were there and the rest of the house lights remained ok, and the dogs barking madly at the staircase. However, my house has such a welcoming feeling that I guess that if there is "something" here, it should be something nice.

That epeisode freaked me out last night then I watched Dragonfly on BBC3 I had some very strange dreams last night!

Seashells · 01/10/2006 09:57

I hate spooky things regarding baby monitors, I'm too scared to use mine!

That episode was so tense, you just knew something bad was going to happen to the baby, why oh why did he put it in the bath???

Humphrey's Corner - where, in your house???

My dd's room is creepy too. From when we first moved it and used it as an office it made the hairs on the back of our necks stand up.... Then my sister lodged with us for a while and she did not like that room either... Then it was ds's nursery and I dreaded going in there in the night, then same with dd...
It just feels like there is someone else in there with you, really really spooky. No other signs tho, and rest of house feels very very welcoming so if there is something there it must be a friendly ghost

Am hugely fascinated and utterly terrified of anything ghosty-related...

I often wake up believing I have seen someone in the room or worse, a giant spider. DH is fed up of me waking him up by sitting bolt upright in the middle of the night. They seem so real that I have palpitations. DH thinks I have a screw loose
