Usually late August I think - I remember watching it on iplayer with newborn DS who was an early September baby. Always think of my teeny baby when I watch it now.

It started early August last year. I remember watching it before we went on holiday, then watching on catch up when we returned.

I hope the move to BBC1 doesn't spoil it; they'd better not go all CDWM and sensationalist. All the vitriol on social media aimed at Ruby last year was bad enough. It's usually a lovely gentle feelgood BBC2 programme and I hope they don't kill the goose in the course of trying to get a bigger golden egg.
