I hope to God they're being paid a fortune as the idea of them watching this in ten years time is horrifying.

I'm so glad that I was a student pre Facebook let alone anything else. I was watching behind my hands. You couldn't pay me to go through all that again.

STOPwiththehahaheheloling · 03/07/2014 23:51

Well, i never was a student and always thought i'd regret that. But after seeing this i'm thinking i was enough of a dick anyway at 18 without having a university full of other dicks to egg me on Grin

Do you think they'll be putting in for compo in years to come? Grin

Just watched it - lol and urgh at the same time.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 04/07/2014 18:22

I'm a Leicester-er. It's odd seeing it on tv, and I'm bloody grateful there are no pictures of my drunkeness on the internet. I don't think I was that bad #wishfulthinking

AlexReidsLonelyBraincell · 04/07/2014 21:35

I was impressed by the staff at the student union looking out for the drunk girl when the four men were buying her drinks and trying to get her to go with them. That's a great set up they have there.
I was a right nob at times, nothing on this lot, but still. I'd have hated my exploits to be on the internet forever more.

STOPwiththehahaheheloling · 04/07/2014 22:17

The bragging about chlamydia by that hideous arsehole prick aiden just sent me over the edge. "Banter" is he for real? And why on earth did that girl go and tell all her housemates? Surely she knew they'd tell everyone? And why why why no condoms? How can they be so blase about their sexual health? A condom is hardly a massive inconvenience! Feel for the parents watching their ickle darlings on this.

I know, I hate this 'Lad' Banter culture, do they not realise that they are total pricks?

I was cringing at the chlamydia phonecall, why announce it to your flat mates? Why? They didn't seem bothered, it was just another way to get some attention, negative or otherwise, it's sad really.
They'll probably want to die of embarrassment at it all in five years time. The curly lad at the cooker was funny "well I don't think it's funny at all". I hope my kids are more like him.

MrsJoeDolan · 04/07/2014 22:43

Worked at Leicester Uni in the recent past. Watched through my fingers. What were they thinking allowing themselves to be a part of this.althoughcampuslookednice

Someone needs to give Aiden a bell to ring and a sign that says 'unclean'

iwantgin · 04/07/2014 22:43

I only saw a bit of this.

Am so glad that none of my youth was filmed and broadcast on tv.

STOPwiththehahaheheloling · 04/07/2014 22:49

Yes- i thought that too.

I also felt really sorry for Lauren, the history student. She seemed so isolated at the start. And well done her for calling them on their Nazi signals. How on earth did pretending to be a Nazi ever become a 'funny' thing? Hmm

Thank fuck I'm not a student now. Glad we managed with no phones or internet.
