Season 7, Episode 1. Starts again on Monday 7th - 9pm fox

True Blood is back for a sexy, scary and truly 'fangtastic' final season. It's time to return to Bon Temps and discover the fate of your favourite characters.

Not sure how they are going to end this series

And no more Eric :(

'Blonde swoons'

Fuck me, it's awful, isn't it? I tried this season after hating the last simply because it is the final one, but I don't know if I can stand it. I've watched the others, I've read the books, but this is pure tripe. Not even worth a hate watch.

Blondes, episodes 2/3 are no better, possibly worse.

I hate that they are setting up the Bill/Sookie ending, after all the shit he's pulled. They are totally Mary Sueing him. Crap Crap Crap.

I know. I'm confused too. Err.. just stay in your house every night, and don't open the door or look out a window so they can't glamour you?

I also hate that they seem to be aiming for a Bill/Sookie ending. But then if you've read the books - christ, that ending was awful.

I miss the good old days of season 2, with maenads and Eric chasing Sookie and Lorena But then I actually liked last season. Especially all those cliched Christopher Lee-esque scenes where Eric turned Willa.

Still love the show though. It's absolutely terrible, but it knows it is terrible and it hasn't taken itself seriously in about 5 years.

And that first scene Shock Not as funny as Jason's Warlow dreams (god I miss Rob Kazinsky) but still good. If only to see Eric naked.

That's the sole reason I still watch this show. Naked Eric. Oh, and lines like "he's a DogBear".

I also don't get how these sick vampires wiped out a whole town. Surely you'd just stay in after dark and ignore any knocks on your door?
It's annoying but I still love the show.

I don't care about sookie or bill. I just wanna see Eric and Alcide without their tops on [shallow]

How do the sick vampires do anything when the main cast the have Hep V can't do anything?

I had a lovely dream about Robert Kazinsky (Warlow) last night. He was in the army. Sigh.

First photo of Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou in Robert Kirkman’s ‘AIR’

They’re at it again. Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and star Norman Reedus are joining forces again for the movie AIR, which tells the story of two workers (played by Reedus and Djimon Hounsou) who are tasked with maintaining one of the underground bunkers set up to preserve the human race after the air outside has been rendered toxic. The bunkers are filled with sleeping tanks housing individuals seen as providing the best chance for rebuilding civilization.

AIR will be directed Christian Cantamessa and released in the spring of 2015, but we’ve got your exclusive first image from the film right here. In it, we see Hounsou (as Cartwright) and Reedus (as Bauer), who have been awoken from their sleeping tanks for their two hour shift—which occurs every six months—in the decommissioned missile silo. We commissioned Norman Reedus to tell us more about the movie, so he called in from the set this past spring and did just that. (Click on the Full Size magnifying tab to see a bigger high-res version on the photo.)

EW: Okay, Norman, how would you describe AIR?
NORMAN REEDUS: It’s a psychological thriller. It’s a story of two people who are pretty much the last people on the planet. They run a facility that has all the best of the best that’s being held in sleep tanks that will be re-awakened to populate the earth, and one of them thinks of their job as the scientist and the other thinks more of their job as a janitor. And the position is kind of in between both of those. But one of them discovers that the other has a secret, he’s holding onto the secret and that secret is that he’s trying to keep a certain person alive. And through the character I play, his past is such a dark one, and the guilt of what he’s done weighs so heavy on him that he sort of substitutes his real family for this other person in his mind, and he sort of looks at him as a brother in this way that’s a little too close for comfort. And what happens is he ends up forcing the action to take place against the other person’s will. So it becomes this thriller, this mindf— of a movie of convincing this other guy to do something he doesn’t want to do.

I got fed up with the books so never got to the very end, how did it go?

I thought last season was pretty awful to be honest, so,wasn't expecting much from this season either. I agree re the setting up the Sookie/Bill ending , I she needs to be with Eric!

ThePowerOfMe · 19/07/2014 17:33

Eric is too good for Sookie. So is Alcide. She should end up with boring Bill.

Really struggling with this season, to be honest, and I've been a 'truebie' since the very beginning (watched series 2 recently and it was like another prog altogether, oh for those days).

I've read a few of the books, not the last one but I know what happens.

Sad to see Alcide kick the bucket, he's a hooooottie!

Never thought I'd say it but even Pam is annoying me now, the constant swearing is a bit irritating and she's spent far too long moping around after Eric. There's too many characters I no longer care about.

I distinctly get the impression they're trying to do a 'game of thrones' and kill off major characters to try and shock viewers. But I'm not feeling it. Generally the kill count is much lower in earlier series so it feels out of place.

And the flashbacks are annoying too. Why has the 'Corporation' suddenly appeared as a major baddie? Is it only coz the Authority is gone and they needed a replacement on the show?

Well last nights episode was a bit of a flop. Alcides death was pretty flat. Don't think he had chance to shine before he was bumped off this series.

Can't remember why Eric is so pissed off with Sarah Newark ??

Quite liked the old bat with the gun getting her comeuppance I've never liked her.
