The reason's they gave for saving Marlon were basically that he was too inarticulate to make a plea.

I think Jale wad crying to demonstrate to Helen that leaving ash up for eviction doesn't mean she's shifted allegiance to Ashley and Danielle's camp.

Jale is embarrassing herself. She wasn't moved by Chris but cried for Marlon who was angry and felt degraded having to speak to women?! Wtf. She is seriously deluded. And Marlon is utterly vile.
