Starts this Thursday night at 9 with the first of 2 live shows. Anyone else excited?

I'm watching it now- isn't it funny, the blokes' reaction to Ash? Winston seems friendly but Steven and Chris - their noses are right out of joint.

I might like Ash. Steven is just a sleaze and I like the idea that every day he's going to confronted with someone who looks like that and seems to have an easy charm. Of course, he might turn out to be a tosser.

Yes, I quite liked Ashleigh too and Pauline.

When they were saying one housemate's life would be changed forever and Helen stepped into the booth I kept thinking of Charlie Brooker and it would turn into a gas chamber.

Think Pauline may have shot herself in the foot with viewers with her bitching about Chris .

Bit disappointed that BB have gone down the token oldie route but then being over 30 I suspect they have classed Chris and Jale as ancient.

Anyone hoping Mark seriously pisses Pauline off just as she's about to put someone up for her evil nomination . I've seen so many comments about his annoying whiny voice he could be up and gone straight away.

What did she say about Chris? I quite liked him because I think he might be interesting. I was a bit disappointed by him pouting at Ash. But maybe he wasn't being nasty. Maybe he was a bit intimidated.

I have a feeling that Jale might be like that horrifically rough Emma Greenwood - remember Fight Night, years ago?

She had all the night 1 lads gathered round her and told them everything Chris had said in his VT and referred to him as 'the ugly' one.

I liked Pauline, but that was probably because she was saying the things I was thinking, which always helps you like someone, doesn't it?

I am normally the biggest big brother fan but I am at this years. Horrible, selfish people and there isn't a genuine one in there.

I also hate all the twists and don't think Pauline is even thinking about who she's giving these things too! I want BB to be in charge - back to basics please.

Will give it a bit longer but can see me giving up on this pretty soon.

Well, my flirtation with quite liking Pauline died very quickly when she used her knowledge of Chris's VT to ingratiate herself with the first night lads. He was obviously trying to be jokey on his VT (and referencing the peeing in the kitchen bin incident). She referred to him as short and ugly, which is both insensitive and mean. Chris could be one of the more interesting hms. If Pauline picks him for permanent noms, she will have drunken the poison chalice dry and will deserve a rapid fall from grace.

I hate it when they tinker with noms. It never ends well.

Charlie Yes, I think I might struggle this year. I found the last sleb BB intolerable and hardly watched. I just kept up to date on Digital Spy. I'll give it a couple of weeks, but Mark and Helen already hurt my ears.

But they've all got hair extensions Oldtimer I like doing extensions watch as they all get slowly more dishevelled looking.

Although last year I strongly suspected they were getting haircuts on the sly. They looked suspiciously well groomed sometimes. Wish the producers would just relax and let things take their natural course. That's when you get the really good tv. It's not Towie!

I still think it'll be a good series so long as we remember that it's not true BB anymore.
