Hinterland Ep 4 - I don't get the ending, anyone know what happened?

The chief super went into the lecturers cell (Rees), and there was something in the ex police officers (dead girls father) file about an unresolved abuse case related to the one in the first episode I think.

So what was all that about? Was the chief super implicated, involved or something in the child abuse? Why does he want to speak to Rees alone? Was the ex police officer sacked because he was going to uncover something on that abuse case or was it because he became a drunk????

I think we are to find all this out in the next series! I knew the super was a bad 'un right from the start.

I can't wait.

I wish it was a 6 part series not a 4 parter

I'm a bit confused as well.

I think it was the Iwan Thomas' cell he went into at the end. Am disappointed we have to wait for answers. Really enjoyed the series.

That super also tried to intimidate the girls from the children's home in the earlier episode. He'll turn out to be involved in a child abuse scandal centred on the home. Mark my words. The dad from last week will turn out to be right and will be rehabilitated into the force.

Oh, was that the last one? It's been brilliant.
