Do you think he's playing to the camera or is he always like that ?
He's sort if spoiling the programme, even though it's about him Hmm

He operated on my little dog a couple of years ago. He bullied me into agreeing to the surgery. Total hip replacement. Very intimidating and aggressive tactics to get me to agree to this ( experimental) surgery.

Seven months later the operation failed. Hip replacement on larger dogs is more established. But he was making a name for himself by doing this op on small dogs and even cats. Since operating on our dog he had refined the operation further to help avoid the failure that happened with ours.

Fitzpatrick wanted to operate again to rectify the dislocation but our insurance would not cover it. The total cost with post op hydrotherapy etc was going to be about £2000, possibly more.
Our dog's other hip was also dysplasic and may also have needed surgery in the future.
When I told Fitzpatrick I didn't want to put our dog through more surgery he became very unpleasant indeed. Horrible, horrible man. IMO.

Went back to our regular vet who discussed all the options with us and we sadly decided to PTS. Sad
