I did wonder if it would, there'll be lots of coverage. I'm
Much more interested in athletics than poxy tennis though Grin

Raahh · 20/07/2014 17:18

Noooooo! Tennis is great.
And Doctors had only just come back onSad

I don't remember there being much in the way of tv coverage during the Commonwealth games last time, mind you it was in India, iirc so there will have been a time difference.

When it was in Manchester, I think I ignored tv altogether as I was sick of how it had taken over the city (we were still sulking over not getting the Olympics, see.) I remember the day it stared though- coincided with my 20 week scan with Ds Smile

Watching live for once ! Nice bit of topical theming with the drug taking Muslim !

curlyclaz13 · 21/07/2014 13:57

What's with the magic ladle ?

cinnamongreyhound · 21/07/2014 13:58

They're very negative about Ramadan! So far all the patients hAve been badly effected by it.

Josh is struggling today, I feel very ignorant watching this.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/07/2014 13:59

It's been passed down through generation for some special cooking that mum borrowed from grandma and he had to return it.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/07/2014 14:00

And now he's lost it :(

cinnamongreyhound · 21/07/2014 14:01

Nice personal call to Kev and of course they'll put her straight through!

curlyclaz13 · 21/07/2014 14:08

Ash thanks for the ladle explanation ! Maybe his mate has it ? It's a bit serious today . Where are the gobbies ?

curlyclaz13 · 21/07/2014 14:17

I think Mrs T has made things worse.

Raahh · 21/07/2014 19:55

Right- am watching today, even though I didn't watch Friday. Doubt that matters.

Raahh · 21/07/2014 19:57

Oh dear- Niamh has upset Kevin.

And then Kevin makes the same assumptions.

Erk. Dodgy Josh.

Drugs and Ramadan.

Eating disorders and Ramadan.

I think one of the writers has ishooos with Ramadan.

'Giant Spoon'Grin

Lovely description of his Granny. Sounded like me.

Josh is finding it hard to deal with temptation, it seems.

Where does Viv the Rev get her jumpers from ?

They clash with her hair.

The mother in this is a rubbish actress.

And if i rang the Doctor's surgery,to speak to a doctor, it would mean

1- going through to an automated service
2-pressing the right button to get a receptionist.
3- spending 20 minutes in a queue
4-getting through, asking to speak to Doctor x, to be told, he will call me back.
5- repeat, several hours later.

It's been a while since a 'Kevin deals with life as a British Muslim' storyline.

OP posts:
Raahh · 21/07/2014 20:12

Oh, Mrs T.

Run. Run, far far away.

OP posts:
Raahh · 21/07/2014 20:13

Yes- you're a terrible Muslim, because you left the ladle in the park.

Now, that is a surreal sentence.
