They must know that the attack was between 7.30 and 9.30pm or that wouldn't have made them release him. I kept thinking it was lunch time but I don't always pay closest attention.

I personally don't think gobby will get her memory back, I think she will stay as she is and grow to love gobby plod and the kids but never the same as she did before. But hopefully as she's living more she will grow out of the stroppy teen!

I really hope MrsT is proven right to trust josh.

And Jimmi asked Gobbyplod what josh had done when we first saw him and he didn't tell him. I guess if another police surgeon had dealt with him he wouldn't know. He told MrsT early on that he didn't know what he's done but he knew he wasn't a nice man Raahh.

Thanks Cinnamon- I'd forgotten that. He seems to have been in the programme for far too long, does Josh. And he is obviously up to no good, if he couldn't tell the Rev the truth.

This is a :( one! I don't understand why they're investigating right now? 'You're still struggling to come to terms with this' yes because he died a few mins ago!!!!!!! I think the dad has done something dodgy with the baby.

Haven't watched today's yet, but the other night there was a film on TV called The Vow, based on a true story, where the couple were in a car accident, and the woman lost her memory. They got divorced but got back together, and went on to have children, but she never got her memory back. Whilst watching it I thought that Gobby will never get her memory back.

Does anybody else think Niamh has a bit of a 'Misery' (Stephen King) look about her?
She's too cheery (they make me nervous :)

losing- definitely. But then I don't trust anyone who is that cheerful all the time. Grin

I will be so disappointed if there isn't a big plot regarding Niamh.

I'm still going with the 'Al's long lost Irish Twin' theory.

Or maybe she is another incarnation of Freya(who)? Grin

Anne If Gobby never gets her memory back, the writers are bound to slip up. Continuity is not a strong point.

Goby minus memory is starting to get annoying now. She needs another bump ont' ead to bring it back again.

I am enjoying seeing them fall in love again. It was lovely seeing how delighted Plod was when Gobby said she wanted to move home today.

They were like a new couple today talking about moving in together. They were both so excited it was lovely :)

This is part of the trauma of being a Doctors fan. All these little things like newtsthat look like they may be building up to be a story, and you think you've spotted it. Then they just turn out to be a couple of accidental lines added by the script writers to fill time.

I love the trials and tribulations you get as a Doctors fan. One day you are cheering crying over one of the long-standing lead characters being run over by an articulated lorry, the next it is gangster clowns.

I think you've solved the mystery of the newts, Raahh. Niamh is a newt. Perhaps that's why her and Al get along so well.

I will be very annoyed if this whole not knowing basic medicine/needing her hand holding thing doesn't turn out to be some big story about her faking her medical degree or something.
