I probably still am as I have only found 2 other people in RL who are and one of those is dh

I cheered when it came back - please tell me I'm not alone??

I didn't guess the Coulson twist at all. I was . I'm so sad that the series is nearly finished.

No I never guessed the Coulson twist either. I love the way he just sat there, taking in this awful shock, and said 'oh'.

I think one of the reasons we didn't suspect it was because his character in the avengers didn't seem the type.

Was he a baddie then? He wasn't in the film was he?

I'll admit to distractedly watching and surfing the net, but what was most about the Coulson reveal? Is it that he's/was a baddy? Or is it that, as they didn't wipe Skye's memories, so she's primed to go psycho?

Oh god, I hadn't even thought about skye going nuts although she's an 084 so that might come into play and protect her hopefully because I really like her character

Coulson was never a bad guy so the fact that he'd conduct human experiments like that is pretty

But I don't think Coulson is a baddy - he explained that he thought it was a terrible idea with too high costs and was therefore resigning.

I'm glad others don't think Coulson is a baddy. That wasn't what I took from this week's episode. I was much more focussed on Skye = ticking time bomb after May & Coulson's exchange at the end.

Coulson's not a baddie! Not in the Ward "I'm a serial killer but I still luffs you Skye so it's OK" sense. The impression I got from the way it ended was that he had begun the project without any idea of what it might lead to, and when he realised that the price was too high, resigned. A bit like this protest when the atomic bomb was created, it seems to me. I liked this quotation particularly in relation to how I see Coulson:

"Few people today even know that so many men and women who had worked to beat Hitler to the bomb had then tried to stop it once that race was won. Their petition highlights a cruel duality shared by all scientists: eager to reveal nature's secrets, they are then often powerless to influence how their discoveries are used. Yet, as Szilard and his colleagues showed, scientists should never stop trying to remind policymakers of their "moral responsibilities.""

I thought the episode as a whole was brilliant: loved the exchanges between Ward and Skye, especially in the diner when she told him what she really thought of him (pretending to be talking about how he must feel about Garrett), loved Fitz (or do I mean Simmons - which one's which?) going mad when he realised Ward was Hydra (and loved seeing where Skye had left her warning).

Can't wait to see what Skye did when she was decrypting the hard drive to help them track Ward and whatshisname (Gunn, to all the Angel fans on this thread!)

How did fitz realise there was something up with the picture where Skye had hidden her message? I heard him say night and day. How did that help him figure it out?

The day picture is shown during the day and the night one during the night. He noticed they were different so one was wrong.

Captain America was out a while ago so winding down at the cinema.

The new xmen film is out on 22nd. Am very excited about this!
Guardians of the galaxy is out in the summer. Brady cooper is the voice of a raccoon! I still want to see it but would prefer Bradley cooper to be less CGI. :)

Loving how AoS has upped its game these last few episodes. I said upthread that it would, I said, I said!

What's the next marvel film?

Other than X-Men Days of Future Past as mentioned, Avengers 2 is due out in 2015 I think. And Ant-Man is in the works, bit about that one.

Must catch captain America before it stops at pictures.

Need the dc to be asleep by 8pm so we can watch it ASAP!
