Avengers is heading for a register of powers vs freedom storyline I think, which could tie in here.

Hope bobbi and Mack are up to something good.

I think Bobbi and Mack must be good because Bobbi/Mockingbird has her own history from the comics,etc, and I don't think it includes her going rogue.

I read a theory on DoG look away now in case it's a spoiler that Bobbi and Mack are working for Maria Hill or/and Tony Stark. I'm guessing Hill although I would absolutely love it if Robert Downey Jnr showed up on the Bus

Stark gets a mention once in a while so hopefully he'll pop up at some point, like Fury did.

I love the thought of putting X-Men mutants in the mix

Dh has reliably comic-book nerdily informed me that the x-men and mutants can't be in the marvel agents of shield universe because of 'the rights'. Like in Flash when they talk about meta humans. Because they can't say mutant.

Fox has the rights to X Men I believe. I wonder if the concept of mutants comes up anywhere else in Marvel though? In any of the work they still have the film rights to? It can't be used on The Flash as that is DC.

There's a lot of crossover in the Marvel Universe comic books - the Avengers et al do frequently interact with mutants. But I guess it's not hard for them to pick and choose suitable characters and storylines for the films without infringing on Fox's rights.

The upcoming Avengers film features Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who are the children of Magneto, who is obvs a mutant and well-known character from X-Men. Quicksilver also appeared (played by a different actor) in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Not sure therefore who has the rights to that character or how that was worked out but I suppose it shows there is some leeway?

This man (the eyeless teleporting chap) is an Inhuman, like Syke and Raina. They gain their powers by exposure to terrigen mist (as happened to Skye and Raina in the cavern).

I'm closing my eyes as we haven't watched it yet (dh is away) but just wanted to give a wave to fellow AoS fans :)

I started with Flash and only saw Arrow when they had those cross over episodes. I've been watching the new ones but I'm a bit lost really. I noticed that the first series is on Amazon Video/Prime so I may start there.

It's the second series. There was a big break over Christmas because that's what the American studios do for some reason. It makes it seem like a different season and is a bloody nuisance IMO.

Sooo we had a massive catchup last weekend and now watching last night's episode - I still want to be Agent May when I grow up!
