He legged it out of toilet window. V. unrealistic I thought - was shocked they would do that to Sarah again

He sent her a text saying he couldn't go through with it! Poor Sarah i was hoping it would all go smoothly.

He comes back next week and tries to get her back

It's a shame because Corrie is usually so well written, it's so glaringly wrong when they make someone do something completely out of character for the sake of excitement.
Also Charlie and Maria are getting it on - going to use the honeymoon suite!

There was no nerves, no umming or ahhing. He was standing at the front with her with Enrique being played, his mum turns up and it all goes wrong.

Yes, I agree, it didn't seem right after the build up - when he seemed so happy. My only thought was that he'd been adamant to go against his mother's wishes (even though he complained that she didn't approve) and the minute she gave it her blessing, he flipped somehow?!

I read an interview where the guy who plays Jason said they filmed two endings and he was really hoping that they would use the happy one.

Fat chance.

I agree that it didn't seem right - was completely out of the blue and really badly written.

It was rubbish

Apart from anything else, that registrar would point blank have refused to marry anyone with the address Coronation Street. There's never a straightforward wedding when the bride or groom is from there, is there?
