... The police tell Ian that Lucy was exchanging texts and phone calls with a mystery person before her death, so Ian starts interrogating people. But Max used a separate phone to contact Lucy, which he got rid of, and Lucy always deleted his messages.

David Wicks finds CCTV evidence of Max's affair with Lucy. Max confesses to him. David then (I think) tells Ian - at Lucy's funeral Shock

Lauren turns detective & goes to meet someone she thinks is the killer, pretending to be a client. When this person turns up, it's "a very familiar face" Confused I don't know if this is when she finds out about her dad & Lucy, or if she finds out at the funeral when Ian does. Has anybody read any better advance info??

Def hint of a smile so could be a text from max? Or someone she wants to see - possibly a shitty/ jealous text from max as he knew she slept with lee - and maybe Lucy found it funny an old man was jealous

Sure police / computer experts could find deleted messages. ALWays a trail somewhere

tbh I just think she was so upset about how things went yes it sounded selfish poor woman own world had been turned upside down too and she did go back but Ian doesn't love her either dont think he ever did he just needs a woman in his life , (what do they see in him anyway)

Ian seems remarkably successful with women and I can't see why. I remember someone saying Denise would be the fifth Mrs Beale - fifth!

Yes but look at his wives, Cindy can't remember why she married him, mel because he told her lucy had cancer, laura who was quite insecure wasn't she? Mandy who was a gold digger and Jane who was the only decent one.

They're all co-dependents though, aren't they? When he met Jane, she was caring for a husband with a terminal illness. Ian spends half his life acting like a sad little boy; that usually works with targets partners who need to be needed. At least Mandy had the measure of him.

I think Cindy married him because she was pregnant and Wicksy didn't want her but I can't remember, I was only a tot then. Then they split up and she left. He went to pieces and went to Kings Cross a lot.

He found Cindy again, I can't remember if she was working as a prostitute or living in poverty and he got her to come back and i think that's when they had the twins?

I think Laura genuinely loved him and the children. He treated her appallingly. She's rarely mentioned now and Bobby will know nothing of her. (It's not real life, I know, over-invested again!).

Me too. She was brilliant. I saw the actress in Staines clarkes last year.
You know when you see someone you recognise but can't place them? But in that split second you make eye contact you say "hello? Yes, that. Was mortified when I realised ten minutes later. She was very nice though
