I have no idea how much they are using the original Dumas stories, but maybe last night's was better because of they used the Man in the Iron Mask plot instead of writing their own nonsense!

Actual good story this week. Still plenty of time for perving over Athos and his trim trim waist and his nice broad shoulders though.

LOVED the close-up when he says 'It will be our duty to kill you –and, incidentally, our pleasure.' The delivery! The timing! The burning eyes under the hat brim! If anyone can find a screenshot of that (I've tried and failed) I will snog you.

I think they should replace him! But then it would have to be an actor as good as Capaldi, and since there are none on this entire earth as wonderful as him then, well they can't.

Hannah, I'm impressed with your powers of deduction! I'm not sure I'd entirely reccomend one to anyone else. He doesn't have a sword, and he doesn't ride a horse (WIMP!) but he does get quite grotty from time to time. I don't think they are all like that so you'd need to shop about a bit.

I've got 12 images of Athos open at the moment (thank you Hannah, Only and Stinkle). I wish I was a teenager so I could paper my bedroom with these as posters. Somehow I don't think DH will be OK with that.
