Uncle on BBC Three is hilarious, only 2 left but it's subversive rude escapism on Monday's at 10pm.

jemjelly · 12/02/2014 12:24

Another Uncle fan here, I think its the funniest TV program since the Inbetweeners, infact the humour is very similar - the characters in it are really well written, I actually feel like I know them and will really miss it when it finishes. Wonder if they will do any more?

I also love Big Bang and Frasier.

Davros · 12/02/2014 21:44

UNCLE! Grin

BigW · 12/02/2014 21:50

Realise that this is in telly addicts, but The unbelievable Truth, The Now Show and the new series of Just a Minute. All radio 4 and brilliant.

Last night's "Inside Number 9" had me laughing out loud - very original ideas and slick performances.

"Dinnerladies" is a perennial favourite - funny but tinged with a little melancholy.

"Benidorm" is unashamedly rude - good for a snigger.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 13/02/2014 19:46

Optimist number 9 was brill wasn't it? loved the 'silent comedy' performances. very clever.

Optimist1 · 13/02/2014 19:50

Yes, Zygon - I think I'll watch it again on the iPlayer. I was so jealous of the beautiful house, too!

Davros · 15/02/2014 10:15

I'm with BigW. Some of the best comedy is on the radio. As well as new stuff like The Now Show and Clare in the Community, I often listen to Radio 4 Extra and it's surprising how funny old episodes of Yes Minister are. Even Steptoe and Son etc. I loved Count Arthur Strong io the radio and loved it just as much on telly.

DoctorTwo · 15/02/2014 10:45

Count Arthur Strong here too. It took a while to get going, but it's worth persevering with it.

Vic and Bob's new show is baffling but hilarious.

the first 8 pages of the swingers thread in style and beauty

I second Brooklyn 9 9. I also quite like Uncle on one of the bbc channels.

The IT crowd is just wonderful.
