I read something the other day that said that Jim and Richard Desmond are friends, and that Desmond has plans to rehabilitate Jim and have him front a show on Channel 5. Hence he was edited very favourably on CBB.

Makes sense of why the housemates continually nominated him and said they didn't like him, and yet he came across fairly ok on the TV.

Apparently Jim has helped RD lots with appearances etc for charity. I wish I could find the article I read again - as soon as I read it I thought "Oh, I want everyone from the CBB threads to read this!".
