He is receiving deep ironing treatment - Petrissage movements - deep kneading (elbows) means he has huge muscle tension in his lower back - he must have knots like steel in there... They don't come out with one treatment - he has to have more. Think of your worst lower back period pain and quadruple it. Times it by 100. It will be hurting him to walk let alone play tennis.

I don't think Stan will be all that excited, I think he'll be a bit disappointed if he does win due to Rafa's ailment. I know I would be.

He's not moving about like he has a sporting injury but I am new to this whole sporting thing so quite possibly may be wrong. He is looking like he has a trapped nerve or a spastic muscle (muscle spasms) in his back. This can go if he has treatments - we can get to the muscle and un-knot it. You can use ironing moves and kneading to ease the nerve endings... Plus they have special medical creams I suppose - I don't have any of those suckers...

Rafa's taking a bit more time with his serve now. He'd ditched all the bum itching hair tucking ball bouncing ritual and was just rolling it in but he was starting to ball bounce a bit more in that last service game.

He hasn't got much to lose really. Except the match I guess.
