Yes Dan Snow is lovely - intelligent and fecking gorgeous! But my secret crush was the red-shirted boat leader guy. Tom? The only rapids navigator expert who DIDN'T have a beard. I loved his mellow laid back style he was really sexy!

I felt for the naturalist (Mike?) chappie. Maybe it was how it was edited but you never saw his boat mates encouraging him or trying to motivate him. Just bitching about him. I thought that was quite male, how each team had to sink or swim. I would have been itching to intervene and promote better teamwork and communication!

The footage was amazing and it is incredible how Powell and his team managed it 150yrs ago
