Who else is going to watch? There was a nice little gang of us last year!
Very sad it is the last series. Will be watching to see if Todd Carty has improved (though don't hold out much hope........ )

Hopefully Beth will snatch it. After being in the dance off tonight Ray obviously isn't getting enough votes to win. Anyone but Hayley...

The reason I have my reservations with Beth is that I have to remember she is an Olympic champion. I realise in a different field from ice dancing but balance, strength, precision and stamina are second nature to her.

She's very good but it isn't an even playing field: maybe that's why Jason and the others are harder on her - I don't know?

Put off by the fact they appear apparent and smug and they aren't attractive traits in a competition! Yes they may be good at what they do, but they don't come across like they want it enough! Their dances are static as in u don't see improvement, whereas I think you do with Beth, it's like she has something to prove because she doesn't have the actor trait, she's an athlete so she has more to give and basically more

winterlace They all have their advantages. The others are actors which helps them with their performance, something that Beth is always criticised for. And it seems like performance quality is very highly thought of...which explains why Hayley gets so much praise when she's not a good skater.

So it's connection between partners, performance and technical ability that are judged?

Out of that list for me it's technical ability that should be most highly prized.

I agree Rum - I'm just wondering if the judges bear prior - don't know what the word is! - past lives into account, is what I mean! It just seems logical to me an Olympic gymnast would have a heads up on an emmerdale actress!

Haha Lottie, Hayleys face would crack and all fall to pieces of she won again so large the grimace would be!
She comes across as so fake that I will personally break my own rules of voting to vote Beth next week, purely based on the fact she doesn't come across as a complete smug arse! Gutted it wasn't Hayley and Ray in the bottom two, the smug off would have been earth shattering! < guess who that is?!

I do think the judges, esp Jason, are judging Beth harshly for whatever reason and it feels unfair and almost bullying.

Thought Jason and Robin were a bit harsh in their skate-off comments: it was obvious they meant Beth should have been there and twice the camera cut to the safe skaters and Beth seemed to be crying.

I also thought Sam did a great skate-off with lots going on and they kept Ray cos they think he has to be in the final.

Ray will probably win it.

Jason should get on the ice & show us how it's done.

Jason.....(sigh heavily)......I'm sorry, I just didn't believe your performance as 'man who can't actually skate'. Your arm positioning was all over the place and your face......I don't think you nailed 'terrified' at all. If I could have scored you lower, I would. It's a 0.5 for effort. This damn thing won't let me score an absolute zero.

I thought that. If Ray was in the skate off it means he's not getting the votes. At least Beth is getting more than him, even if Hayley's not.

I would love Beth to win but I don't mind if Ray does (he is clearly the best). On last week's results it seems like it's between Beth and Hayley but you just can't be sure. Of course we don't really know how many votes Hayley is getting but having never been in the bottom two she is probably doing alright.

I'd like Ray to win, he is better than The others, but think Beth will win. I actually really like Hayley though.

The odds on betting sites still have ray as gave, followed by Hayley then Beth.
I think the public really like Daniel (being english def does, just like kevin from grimsby!) so this helps Hayley get her votes.
