Looks like a few good names, if the rumours are correct. Dr Karl to win!

Dappy to go first for me but I would like liz to stay in longer!

LetZygonsbeZygons · 06/01/2014 17:01

okay, I know evander was told off for being offensive (fair enough and true)

but it was okay for BB to show sappy and that disgusting stuff he was doing? that was okay to show? i found that offensive (yes Im a bit of aprude!!) to watch. why? why? hes disgusting! in a private room thsats one thing but on tv and in a room full of people?ewwwwwww!

and jasmines vile language?and shes just as bad. why do all the guys like her? is that the kind of woman guys like?

and yes I know I can switch off prog and not watch it but Im quite liking Ollie!

BuffyxSummers · 06/01/2014 17:06

The difference is homophobia vs a bit rude.

Sunshineonsea · 06/01/2014 17:10

So far I quite like Ollie, lee, Casey, Sam, Linda and Luis's

Not fussed on the rest of them.
From the articles on Luisa I imagined her to be a bit of a jasmine but she seems ok actually (so far)

LetZygonsbeZygons · 06/01/2014 17:13

Buffy yes I get that but its still not nice to see the other 'stuff'.

and evanader said to loiusa he didn't want to carry on that convo but she kept pushing him for an answer and instigated convo in 1st place. but yes he could have jjust said 'no, im not talking about it'.

Sunshineonsea · 06/01/2014 17:14

JD makes my skin crawl and I don't believe a word he says, it seems a big publicity stunt for him to get the public back on his side. He's done a big interview in one of the papers (sun or mirror I think) about how much he's even through over the past year blah blah

UriGeller · 06/01/2014 17:21

I quite like Jasmine, she seems a riot. I'd love a night out with her. I think Sam has been a real hero but I reckon Jasmine would hold Sams hair if she was puking too

SapphireMoon · 06/01/2014 17:42

Oh LetZygons, I thought Luisa initiated conversation but tried quite hard to stop it when she saw where Evander was going with it. He was like an unstoppable train determined to get his horrible views out in a self righteous, superior rather unintelligent way.
I think [unless I missed something] that Luisa realised pretty quickly she had started something she wished she hadn't.

limitedperiodonly · 06/01/2014 17:46

I ended up quite liking Luisa on The Apprentice sunshine. It took a long time, but I'd have preferred her to win over Leah. In the final episode where the people who've been fired end up on the finalists' teams, she seemed a nice person to work with.

And I agree with you about Davidson. In that conversation with Liz about cover girls on magazines and the invisibility of women over a certain age, I liked it when Linda, without breaking step, said: 'And then, of course, there are people who just talk over you...'

And then he tried to do it again. I wonder if the cameras had been off he'd have told her she was a dried up old bag.

Davidson is the only person I've complained to the BBC about.

They broadcast a stage show of his where he said something about the old ladies in the front row having their legs open because it smelled like Billingsgate.

Why he said that, and why someone hadn't edited it I'll never know.

I nearly met him once. As I was walking towards him, he said: 'Here's a blow job coming my way.'

It was Stringfellows so I suppose it was my own fault Hmm

LetZygonsbeZygons · 06/01/2014 17:46

and whats with channel 5 and their rubbish subtitles? if its a recorded prog from night before then they've got time to sort out the subtitles and put them in line with the mouths!

ive got hearing probs and just getting confused by a lot of things!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/01/2014 17:49

It is difficult to say who will be out first. I suppose it will be Evander and That Luisa due to Evander's homophobia.

It does annoy me though that BB don't jump on bigotry and misogyny as quickly. Jim nodding and saying "too right" about larger models not being on magazine covers and Lionel and Ollie talking about how it is wrong for a woman to get so drunk and for a woman to be saying such things.

The pairings make the voting hard.

Theonlyoneiknow · 06/01/2014 18:08

I thought they were up for nomination individually except for Liz and Dappy? Am probably confused though, do we know who else is up?

limitedperiodonly · 06/01/2014 18:12

I thought Liz and Dappy were the only people who were up and that Jim and Linda are immune.

Is everyone else up too?

I think Liz is playing a game by being the first to say that poor old Jim and Linda should be immune but fair enough, she was asked first and she jumped in.

RedToothBrush · 06/01/2014 18:14

Apparently they didn't show all the footage of saturday as it was 'too racy for tv'.

Grim.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/01/2014 18:18

I think they said that some other pairs would get immunity through challenges too, then the remaining pairs plus Liz and Dappy will be up for eviction.

allthesongssoundthesame · 06/01/2014 18:20

The best thing about CBB is the diversity of people- old, young, all sorts of classes and backgrounds. And when they start to become socialised and disinhibited the real selves almost always out...

..and strange friendships develop. Remember Sally and Paddy? Rylan and Razor Ruddock?

I've a hunch that JD will turn out not to be as vile as we have all believed him to be. Damaged and strange perhaps, but not intrinsically bad. Might be wrong. Waiting to see...

mrsjay · 06/01/2014 19:32

This is Jim Davidson. He'd probably be cracking jokes about shirt-lifters with Evander Holyfield if he wasn't so smart.'

he had a huge fight in hells kitchen about shirt lifters with Lee Ryan was Brian Dowling I think JD was asked to leave but Lee was really animated about it,

mrsjay · 06/01/2014 19:35

limited i remember your stringfellows Jim Davidson story and thought oh he is classy, I wonder what happened with him and Linda

limitedperiodonly · 06/01/2014 19:38

he had a huge fight in hells kitchen about shirt lifters

You can't say he doesn't learn his lesson...

mrsjay · 06/01/2014 19:43

no of course not he is a horrible man he will trip himself up it has only been a few days

allthesongssoundthesame · 06/01/2014 20:15

One thing is plain about Jim Davidson- the man has no self control.

If he is the monster we have all believed him to be I'm sure that will out if he is in there long enough.

As I said, I have a hunch, which may be vastly wrong, based on first impressions, that he may not be. Time will tell..

BMW6 · 06/01/2014 20:23

Davidson is a dinosaur - his "humour" died in the eighties surely? No way can his career be resurrected - t'would be on a par with the raising of Lazarus.....

(Mind you, I thought Lionel Blair had dies yonks ago - and I always thought he was gay, so what do I know!!)

Sunshineonsea · 06/01/2014 20:30

The one thing I like about these celeb reality shows is you get to see the real side of them after they settle in, be it good or bad, I think a lot of celebs do go in not just for the money but if they want to change the perception people have of them

mrsjay · 06/01/2014 20:38

I heard that lionel blair may have dabbled iyswim,

ButICantaloupe · 06/01/2014 20:45

It would be a disgrace if his career was resurrected, BMW6
