Boffin - it's deliberately a cover album primarily - all swing music. He has done one before - swing when you're winning.
He still writes though afaik. Think he wrote with Gary Barlow on his (GB) new album too.

Jesus fucking Christ, this is terrible.

More chemistry with Piggy then Lily Allen. The Rufus Wainwright "ooh look I'm all metrosexual dancing with a gay man" number was embarrassing.

Still watching though...

I like the fact that he's now relaxed enough about his image to appear with the Muppets and his dad, but my favourite songs are the Escapology ones so i wish he'd sing something like Sexed up or "me and my monkey" (and definitely not the anodyne Angels) and find all this swing stuff a bit tedious.
Morrissey is doing middle aged better in my opinon, he's greying but hasn't turned into his dad (just as well from his autobiography)

See I love the swing stuff, I think it really suits his voice. Quite liked Escapology, but didn't like me and my Monkey. He's just a classic entertainer though, through and through. He's going to be going for a while I hope.

Me and my monkey is a great track to warm up to on the turbotrainer. It's gobbledygook, is it a metaphorical monkey eg the monkey on my back? but I love the music. I love the I've come undone track as well. He maybe feels he's too cool and together to sing that now.
I find Frank Sinatra boring as well and Nat King cole, I'm just not into that style of singing

He still sings the escapology tracks and all the older ones too at the concerts. Sure he did Me and My Monkey at the Take the Crown tour too.

The front of his hair was bleached, Ayda thought it would be a good idea apparently.

I am going to be so disappointed if the kids haven't got me tickets now, I've got my heart set on them! I have got tickets to see Gary, 3 rows from the front, although DH is convinced we are seeing George Michael!
