when Tamehra will get the chance to forget the lyrics to not ONE but TWO songs.

So- this week the contestants got to choice a song of their own (by one of their 'misical heroes') and one was voted for by the Great British Public. I'm not sure how we can tell that the GBP did vote for the chosen song, or whether the producers did, but here anyway is the list

X Factor 2013 songlist – Week 8

Luke Friend

Own choice – I Will Wait
The people’s choice – Skinny Love

Nicholas McDonald

Own choice – Greatest Day
The people’s choice – Just The Way You Are

Rough Copy

Own choice – Every Little Step / She’s Got That Vibe
The people’s choice – I Believe I Can Fly

Sam Bailey

Own choice – How Will I Know?
The people’s choice – Clown

Tamera Foster

Own choice– We Found Love
The people’s choice – The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

I am very Sad that we didn't get to see Screwloose singing 'The living years'.

MrsSJG · 30/11/2013 20:47

love Mrs O!

directoroflegacy · 30/11/2013 20:48

Mrs O is soooo a mnetter!

SuePurblybilt · 30/11/2013 20:48

Clagger, Maryzed. And that's cos when she got to the tricky bit, they spliced in another song to save her the bother Grin

VioletPlum · 30/11/2013 20:48

Are they not a bit old to be wearing girls' school uniforms and backpacks?

Raahh · 30/11/2013 20:48

Shazza is so shrieky, dogs across the country are crying.

You don't see enough tabards nowadays. And pleather is such a practical choice. Scope there for dinnerladies up and down the land.

ArbitraryUsername · 30/11/2013 20:49

Sue, meh provided plenty of stools (in the medical sense). Louis should be happy.

snice · 30/11/2013 20:49

DP wanted to know why they were dressed as old school northern coalmen with their pleather aprons

kerpob · 30/11/2013 20:49

Everybody was crap tonight. Seriously. Luke only one who was tolerable.

AndTwoBits · 30/11/2013 20:50

Nicole's dodgy do has aged her a decade

directoroflegacy · 30/11/2013 20:51

Nicholas & RC in bottom 2 so far imo

SuePurblybilt · 30/11/2013 20:51

Maybe they're Freemasons, don't they have leather aprons? Or am I thinking of blacksmiths from 1944?
Ooooo, and La Meh had Illuminati earrings. There's a Dan Brown book in this.

SeaDevilscanPlay · 30/11/2013 20:51

Nicole has Teri Hatchers hair from The Adventures of Superman.

Meh was incredibly bad karaoke on your friends' hen night, wasn't she?

thistlelicker · 30/11/2013 20:51

I hope meh-ra has a bit more of a challenging song- perhaps 3 lines and not two !

ArbitraryUsername · 30/11/2013 20:51

I agree, Luke was the best so far. But, as always, that is faint praise.

Ilikepinkwine · 30/11/2013 20:52

Oh no, do I have to listen to them all again? This thread is all that keeps me going.

NoelOfLorst · 30/11/2013 20:52

Perfume adverts a go-go.

And they're all shite.

Raahh · 30/11/2013 20:53

Meh is doing 'The first time ever i saw your face'- I've only just twigged they have mixed up the 'own choice' and 'viewers choice' songs.

Cher Lloyd.

SuePurblybilt · 30/11/2013 20:53

Lucy Spraggington-Spraggsworth was on t'radio too. They're releasing her 'tea and toast' song for Christmas.
I can't think of anything to say about it that isn't horrid and mean, so I shan't say anything at all.
