Anybody watching this? I need to talk to some else other than my Dd who is 17, may I add

Has just finished. Don't know what to think. I feel a bit let down, but I don't know why.

yeah same it just ended to abruptly for my liking, leaving too many unanswered questions

The Peleton thing was a bit confusing but I found it gripping,moving and brilliantly acted,especially Stephen Dillane. Cannot believe The Bridge was any better.

Just finished it, most gripping thing we have watched in a VERY long time. Loved it.

Not seen it yet, will watch it tonight .

When everyone has finished watching it, can someone tell me what they think happened as I am none the wiser this evening.

Just watched it. Think I've got my head around it but not sure quite why TT went to all that bother before. Surely he could have just gone straight for Karl and Adam?

Gypsy is Adam dead? What was the business of him being in hospital.
I was not impressed by the ending. But loved watching it over all!
Agree, why not just go straight for Adam...

The Bridge was infinitely better IMO.

The characters were laughable copies in The Tunnel.

Yes I do think he was dead. I am glad we didn't see him being tortured or mutilated even if it has increased the confusion somewhat.

diddl does The Bridge have the same character as Elise? I thought she was wonderfully portrayed .

When I say The Bridge, I mean the Danish/Swedish one.
The Tunnel is a copy.

So the female detective is Swedish, methodical,unemotional.

The male is Danish, scruffy-just had a vasectomy.

The first ep-I didn't get any further-was just about a word for word copy!

I notice there's been a couple of series of The Bridge, I wonder if they will do a second one of The Tunnel?

The second series of TB starts in Jan, I think.

BBC 3 or 4.

Ok so I can catch up on series one of The Bridge and be all set for the next one.

No I haven't. I only saw that there was an American one yesterday when googling for info on the original.

I also preferred it to the Danish/Swedish one. I thought Elise was more realistically portrayed, not as cartoonish as Sara and I love Stephen Dillane, he is so understated.
