Opinions...

I'm not watching bb now - stopped ages ago. Will be doing something less boring instead!

Salamander · 20/07/2006 12:16

I wonder why we still come on BB threads if we're so bored with the programme!?!?

Are we crazy?

I say change this to the Love Island 2 thread. Far more interesting!

Me too Dior.

Strange isn't it?

Can we condition ourselves not to watch next year?

Oh, and I refuse to watch that z-list thing on the island. I wouldn't be able to face myself in the mirror any more

I agree with everyone about it being boring but know that, sadly, I will be tempted to look in. I just can't help myself. There's no point pretending.

Afraid I did look at a bit of Love Island . I actually found Patrick quite funny!!!

Salamander · 20/07/2006 15:22

Oh Jockey!!!!!!

Poor thing - what treatment is there for people like us?

OP posts:
Jockey · 20/07/2006 19:34

The Priory!?!

MUSTN'T WATCH TONIGHT.... MUSTN'T WATCH TONIGHT...

But I will just HAVE to see Jayne coming out tomorrow!

Kaloo20 · 21/07/2006 09:21

Successfully avoid Love Island and BB last night - but ended up watching Poker. I stumbled upon poker Wedensday eve and enjoyed watching it so much, I found the channel again last night. DH and I watched for over an hour.... that shows the state of British TV, I'm reduced to watching poker

compo · 21/07/2006 09:24

I don't think Jayne is so bad. After Richard's performance last night I hope he goes... Tbh I don't want either of them to go - much rather it was 'up herself Aisleyne' or one of the boring ones....

Salamander · 21/07/2006 10:38

WHY
does everyone think Aisleyne is "up herself"
?

Where does that come from?

she seems one of the most down-to-earth people in that place.

Sure she's dim, like a hell of a lot of people, but she has seemed to me (and of course I may be wrong as I only watch the edited programmes) to be very self-efacing, reflective and approachable.

i'm confused...

That whole thing with Spoiral is very touchy.
I think people should be allowed to wear what they want, and it's up to the 'predators' to check their behaviour.
That whole 'asking for it' stuff.

Also, i've never really heard this 'ghetto speak' that people keep going on about - other than a few "you get me's" and so forth.
Funny that people find it so offensive!?

compo · 21/07/2006 11:05

I just find her arrogant. On nomination day she was telling someone (can't remember who) to have it all planned already who to nominate to make it quicker for everyone sitting around etc and then she said in the diary room whinging that she didn't know who to nominate etc etc. I don't care how she dresses but dislike the fact that she then complains everyone treats her like a blonde bimbo...

Ash actually said that she fully expects people to sterotype her, just as Richard stereotyped Michael, but she felt they were both 'more' than their stereotypes.

OP posts:
cupcakes · 21/07/2006 11:14

I don't like her. Her performance in the diary room over evicting Spoiral or Jonathan was ridiculous - she knew she'd have to decide.
Bet she really regrets that decision now...

Salamander · 21/07/2006 11:16

People's speech is normally littered with the language of those they surround themselves with - you just can't help it - you pick things up without knowing, or by choice.

My wife is foreign and she often comes out with little English phrases completely unconsciously.

Ash obviously enjoys mixing with 'black culture' whatever the hell that is, and so naturally is going to like the same cuisine, language, clothing and so forth.

not my cup of tea, but it doesn't bother me.

I found her reaction to being evicted completely over the top too - like she couldn't accept that people might want her out. And then she was so smug when she went into the secret room.
I don't really dislike anyone in there but I do think Susie is dull, Jennie doesn't contribute much and Pete is going to win even though a lot of the other housemates have been far more entertaining.

Salamander · 21/07/2006 11:19

I agree it was over the top Cupcakes, but look where these nutters are living.

i'd be climbing up the walls and talking to kettles by the end of the first week

OP posts:
Salamander · 21/07/2006 11:22

smug Compo... or relieved?

i think most of these HMs can be taken two ways - which is why none of us can agree over them!!
