This pro dance is fun

Definitely not more entertaining, I want to be able to compare dancers. Some dances always look more "interesting", eg a well danced Samba will always be more exciting for the viewing public than a good Waltz.

It'll be interesting to hear Karen's thoughts tonight.

Is Monkseal a "he"? I wasn't sure.

Monkseal is a (gay) bloke - he was on Only Connect a few years ago, with his boyfriend I think.

Ha ha Harriet. I have to agree with Monkseal that their partnership seems very genuine with a lot of fondness on both sides. But then,I love Iveta - she is my favourite pro by a mile

Grrr! Still haven't seen Sat & Sun's programme as internet on tv kept chucking me off. Will try again tonight & will resort to watching on laptop if necessary.

I loved that picture of Mark and Iveta. Because so few of the pros/slebs are single, and because of the various rumours that circulated last year, I find it difficult to get enthusiastic about any of the pairs' relationships this year (apart from Robin of course) - any mention of "special bond"s makes me shudder. But I am warming to Mark and Iveta. It's technically possible that they're having a torrid marriage-wrecking affair, but I suspect not.

Just seen Ashley & Ola & I think she could be pregnant - dress very unforgiving & she looks bigger in the boobs!

Also, I noticed Ola wasn't wearing a wedding ring (no idea if this is normal for her or not).

Just read my pp back and meant I've just seen Ashley & Ola's dance from Sat night, not that I'd just seen them

Well I can do the basic waltz steps now but they don't go further IFYSWIM there are other steps following which they ignore in their 'class', it's good they're actually doing it though .

I thought Ola looked in the early stages of pregnancy as well.

I have a conspiracy theory about Ben; I see he is signed up with after dinner speaker agency and December is the most lucrative and busiest month....

Ian was on ITT just now and he demonstrated the samba bounce . Tess joined in and I must congratulate her in doing a good job in those massive killer heels < left me wondering how on earth she managed it>

Tess or Zoe, Digerd? I've always disliked Tess on ITT so if she actually did something for a change, then maybe I'm being unfair?

It was Zoe, she was wearing ridiculously high heels!! Can't believe she was able to do it.

Zoe was a brilliant dancer in her series - albeit 8 years ago now, which is why she can still pull off those moves in sky high heels, rather than Claudia's Bambi-on-ice techniques.

I think I read that her mother was a professional dancer, so it's in the blood (she certainly didn't get it from her father).

Gorgeous samba music too. Zoe was a lovely dancer. Was/is her mother called Janet Ball who danced with Brucie - more ballet than ballroom- on TV in the 50s?

No, and actually on googling I may have been wrong about her mum - JB talked about his wife dancing, but that was probably his second wife, not Zoe's mum. Very talented dancer wherever it came from.

I just watched it - but it is v low res. Must have a look at some SCD dances from before I was persuaded to become a viewer.

Zoe's mum is called Julia. Zoe had a baby girl at 39 in 2010 and already had a 10 year-old boy.
The video quality is not very good unfortunately.

When I come out of a link pc goes back to opening icons page. Been doing it for 2 days now.
