Not sure - is it because we defined ourselves by what we listened to for the first time at that age, and because we listened to it so much that the tunes and words are forever there in our brains?

Stuff comes on the radio, and I can name that tune in about 2 seconds, if it's from the 80s. And as for Abba songs...
