I think it's great. I cried when Michael Sheen's character finally wept at the loss of the baby. But why is he so mean to his wife?

He's horrible to her. I hope she leaves him.

You know dr Ethan did mrs masters "cervical capping" with william's dud semen? Or did he? I reckon he used his own, hence her getting preg so fast.

Oh, and when will he sleep with virginia (paradoxical choice of name for her character!)? He got her ex in to perve over their sex life didn't he?

And yet despite being an utter cunt to his family and colleagues, he treated some of his patients with tremendous dignity and sympathy: the black lady who I think had had a still born, and the abused Russian (?) lady who's tubes he tied without the husbands consent. I think he did that in part to help the little boy, her son, in whom he saw a little of himself as a boy.

She really was called Virginia though? Not a character.

I don't want to read too much about it as I'm really enjoying the not knowing.
