Alice will take the fall for this i bet. Janine will have her story all ironed out whereas alice is panicky and will just talk and talk and admit her part in everything.

Plus no-one saw janine stab him and she wrapped the towel round the knife before she did. Alice wont remember if she stabbed him once or twice. Janine will say alice stabbed him twice.
