FINALLY STARTS TOMORROW TUE 29 in time for halloween Halloween Smile

im so excited, absolutely loved the last 2 series, so hope this will be just as good and scarey

the asylum freaked me out at times, esp when i work nights and watching alone 7week babies sleeping dont count Halloween Grin

No it definitely isn't. It's still good though. How did you like the head in a box? Do you think Mme LaLaurie had genuinely become a better person, or was she just putting it on when she was nice to Queenie? It's quite creepy to find out that she was an actual person (as was Marie Laveau, who I had actually heard of before).

I don't scare easily but that basement scene in 'Murder House' made me jump and question if I should be watching it alone in the dark Grin . Despite the fact it copped out a little in the last couple episodes I enjoyed 'Murder House' the most as it had a lot of suspense coupled with the fact that we didn't know what to expect from the show.
'Asylum' was more shock / disturbing but I felt lacked the suspense of series 1. Not sure where 'Coven' sits on the scare / disturbing scale (maybe because its series 3 and kinda know what we are in for) but I am very much enjoying it .

After losing her hand , the minute the box appeared you just knew it was going to be Madame LaLaurie's head . Grin

I've still been watching but haven't been on mumsnet too much. Shoot out was in Marie Laveau's salon by the witch hunter (Cordelia's husband) and voodoo witch (queenie?) shot herself which killed the witch hunter.

I don't get why it seems that Queenie is dead. I thought that when injuries happened to her, they happened to someone else IYSWIM. So she shot herself to kill Cordelia's husband, but wouldn't she herself be uninjured?

And was that really Stevie Nicks? And won't Misty be coming back, or Nan? There aren't many of them left now!

I think Queenie was already fatally injured when she shot herself to kill the witch hunter. She is only unaffected by self inflicted injuries from what I can gather.

Whose was the baby and why was nan so upset over it

Obv upset over neighbours son :(

Got confused over the funeral and coffin bashing /swapping

Who was the black bloke in the coffin who got up and walked away

At the end of the previous episode (number 9) you saw Marie Laveau taking refuge in Fiona's coven house, after the shooting at her salon. Then at the beginning of this episode (no 10) you saw that in the night the Devil (?) woke her up and told her he had come for his tribute he got from her (every year I think). This was in exchange for her immortality, she is over 300 years old. What he wanted was an 'innocent soul' and you saw Marie go to a hospital and take a new born baby from the maternity ward.

Nan must have realised this when she heard the baby crying and found it in a wardrobe and being a good person she was upset. Fiona and Marie realised she was powerful and might be the next supreme and decided to 'kill 2 birds with one stone' by killing Nan and offering her soul to the Devil instead of the baby - as she was fairly 'innocent'.

I think the black guy in the coffin was just a random person whose funeral procession happened to be going by, and the bitchy blond girl (Marnie? Mel?) just wanted him out of the way so she could use his coffin to get rid of Misty Day.

Did you all not see the episode where the shooting happened, where Queenie rescued Delphine LaLaurie's head, put it in her room, and forced her to watch multiple episodes of 'Roots'!? Don't you remember that? If you have Sky OnDemand, it is there til 21 January (next Tuesday).

Yes I saw that episode and the was on the table watching tv was funny

You explain it well about stealing the baby and nan etc :)

So only one left now out of the 4 girls - black one dead (soz can't rem her name) one in coffin - nan drowned - so just the one with long hair - plus mad Madison

I know what you mean - I often have trouble remembering what happened last in TV shows when there has been a long gap in episodes, or between series. They should have had a 'previously on American Horror Story' recap at the start of the last episode!

And whenever anyone dies they just pop back up again in an episode or two! So there is no sense of jeopardy.

I have enjoyed it, but not much seems to have happened compared to previous seasons, and I can't believe it is almost finished. Plus the comparative lack of scariness!

I am presuming they used different writers.

When Cordelia was blind , she had the gift of a second sight , When she had the new eyes she lost it and let the witch hunters in so in order to protect the coven she was trying to regain the second sight.

Queenie said she had developed new powers when she came back - which is why she said she thought she was the new supreme so I'm assuming the new power is like Misty's. The killing and coming back is a tad Hmm

I'm guessing Spaulding is supposed to be a 'ghost' rather than he's come back .

They have given everyone a claim on being the new supreme , it could just be the one that was (TOO) obvious from the start - Zoe ! Who's on a bus to Orlando .....her and Kyle are in the queue for Tower of Terror as I type Grin
