She went back to watch the execution of the man that killed her childhood friends (she testified in the first or second series, her testimony got him convinced). I think Danny was against her going.

Yes, she went back to see him executed, but it wasn't all that obvious what was going on initially-well, to me, anyway!

But it ends with her going home to Danny.
