Fed playing dubs with Mahut in Brisbane and today they beat the number 1 seeds! Mahut on Twitter now engaging in banter with Paul Henri Mathieu also wanting to play with Fed!

Even though I'm not really a fan, I want Fed to have a good 2014. He's definitely not willing to give up. And the more he plays- the more I see of Stefan

Raahh can't wait to see Stefan in Fed's box at the Australian Open!

Also looking forward to Mirka rocking her maternity wear, she had some gorgeous outfits last time.

I want 2014 to be great for Fed, one final Grand Slam would do it for me.

Happy new year all, tried to post on nye but couldn't. Haven't watched any tennis yet, the new year off to a bad start as my MIL died on nye. Dh obviously very upset. She and I had no relationship so I feel it would be very hypocritical of me to be sad, but I do feel awful for him.

My MIL died 2 years ago, after years of illness. I didn't dislike her, but we weren't close.

Did anybody get the massive scary hailstorm today? I was trapped in the garage and had to run across the garden with a disposable tin foil turkey roasting thing on my head! Made me think of when people on here tell you to don your tin foil hat. Hope the neighbours didn't see.

Arf at your 'tin foil hat', Juan. Didn't get hail as far as I know but I think we've had everything else. There don't seem to be any trains on our local line today. Something to do with a lightning strike. Not sure what it hit though.

Clay- I 'follow' an Edberg site. It is full of fabulous old pictures. Currently, it is full of pictures of Fedberg. It is great.

I also follow Nadal, there are quite a few posts from him, always in Spanish, and the translations available aren't usually very good. Often gets pictures and articles about his family. And fishing. He's very fond of fishing.
