Wonder why they don't use the fishing net thingies elsewhere. Maybe the ball boys/girls at other tournies consider them uncool.

There are some advantages to being self employed and not having much work on, although I'm not sure dh would concur! Feel bit guilty watching tennis all afternoon but I like to think I'm providing a service

Ok, Gulbis, after many attempts, has managed to smash his racquet. He has worse tantrums than my 9yr old.

Gulbis getting medical attention now, probably to an injury he caused himself. He's ok though, back playing now.

I think Shane Gulbis has a certain ring to it. Chardy only had a very tiny strop. :)

How was your day in lovely Turkey?

It was lovely. Pretty much everything is shut but had a bit of a walk round the main tourist area. Even for Istanbul the traffic was horrendous and we got hopelessly lost on the way back, which had nothing much to do with my programming of the SatNav.

Sat navs make me cross.

Funnily enough, it was in Turkey that we got very lost (using the satnav that we decided hated Dh). We were driving from the airport, it was 2 in the morning, we ended up on a teeny weeny windy donkey track in the middle if nowhere. To this day, I have no idea how we found the hotel.

(if i had been driving, we would still be in Turkey, 2 years on).

No, he's playing tomorrow I think.

If we'd followed the satnav's original route we would have been Ok. But although we didn't need to cross the bridge we were on one of the roads heading towards it and the traffic crossing it was gridlocked. We moved 0.2miles in 45 minutes. And most of that was because people were driving across the central reservation to turn round and go the other way. Which is what we eventually did.

Bloody sat navs, good job someone stole ours!

Dodig and Verdasco just came on court, each escorted by a ball boy. Dodig's was one of the baby ball boys and they held hands all the way to his seat, was very sweet.

Dodig sporting some tennis-ball yellow shorts, think it must be a cunning plan so that Verdasco can't see the ball. Verdasco in blue and orange.

Ooh Dodig rubbing what looks like hand cream on, not sure why I find that comment worthy but I do!

Dodig has a certain Goranesque look about him I feel. Verdasco looks tired. Too much womanising
