Ridiculous ending!! How many murderers in one block??

And a) who has the time to find themselves a date with 2-4 month old baby?
b) apparently doesn't say bye bye to baby and leaves him on neighbour's bed...where it seems he stays as neighbour 'pops' out...
c) and then doesn't immediately run upstairs to find baby when she hears him screaming and upset. I couldn't listen to it - awful. Poor kid.

Pretty certain Peggy killed herself - she had already attempted it by slashing her wrist before,in the same bath.

True, but that's easy enough for Elaine to not cover up. Easier than keeping her on ice in the bathtub.

Elaine could have removed all evidence of holding her hostage, planted evidence of Peggy being depressed, all sorts of things. And then gotten tons of sympathy.

Heck, even forged a note confessing to Melissa's murder.

Could be,but I thought Peggy's death had pushed her over the edge into madness where she would not be thinking logically. Interesting theory,though, Tee. I thought the ice was her desperate way of preserving Peggy,showing she was losing it. She could have devised a way of getting the body into her car to dispose of it,surely?

Too much crammed into final episode. Why did Len go into the flat when he could leave the leaflet just inside the door? That's what most people would do surely. And why did the curly-haired girl go to Mr. Sellers after killing her Mum's boyfriend? Why him and not any other teacher? Also, after she had fled to London, the police would have been questioning her ex-classmates and friends, so Michael would have known about her. I think the writer has a duty to us to clear up all the loose ends.

Going into the attic made no sense, it's the one room without a lock on it. Staying in Len's flat and locking and baracading the door after phoning the police would have been much more sensible. it was all very far fetched.

My theory is (I have not 1 jot of evidence for this) that curly haired girl went to Mr Sellars after presumably killing her nasty step-father (had she been sexually abused by him?) because she knew that Mr Sellars had a thing for her when she was his student.
(Didn't Michael say something to curly-haired girl along the lines of :
" we all fancied you like mad when we were at school because you were so up for it" - or words to that effect).
I think she knew Mr Sellars would think he had died and gone to heaven if she turned up on his door asking to stay with him (and didn't he have a thing for "looking after" women - he looked after Melissa's mother when she was ill).
I think that Peggy killed herself as it was the only way she could escape from Elaine. I also think that Peggy was essentially a good egg. She couldn't live with the fact that she was responsible for Melissa's death. Agree with whoever said Elaine kept her on ice because having her as a corpse was better than not having her at all.
I'm sure Len died.
He told his dead wife that he couldn't carry on as he was for another 20 years - and, he'd have been in all sorts of trouble for the corners he cut and the stunts he pulled while impersonating a serving Police person.
And bravo to whoever for giving us a story with a beginning a middle and an end.

That was a really good finale, although Sad when Len died.

Actress who places evil lesbian is stunning, though not relevant here. It was a house full of victims really wasn't it.

I'm getting increasingly annoyed that Virgin Media still haven't got the last episode on Iplayer. All the others - but not the last one. It's so frustrating.
